I've lived in this incredible home for 14 years and enjoy each minute I'm here. It is a true oasis from my rather busy life in NYC. My work takes me around the country and I am always ready to pull up in the driveway of this forest retreat and unwind.

During the last couple of years I felt drawn to share this experience with friends, family and fellow travelers in life. This is my home and not exclusively a "rental property" and it would bring me joy to know that weary world travelers might find their center and realign themselves through a good dose of nature.

I've gone to great lengths lately to update aspects of the house like a new outdoor shower, decking, huge skylight, ductless a/c, Peloton, dedicated reading/work space and a second living space removed from all the action to make this the most comfortable place to recover from the daily grind or to keep grinding away if you really have to.

If staying in isn't all you're looking for you can head to Catamount and snow ski in the winter and try your hand at the Adventure Park in the summer. Like art? How about the Norman Rockwell museum, Mass MoCA, The Clark? Theatre lover? How about Williamstown Theater Festival, Barrington Stage Co, Berkshire Theatre Fest? Dance performance? Jacob's Pillow is nearby. The Hamlet of Hillsdale is a quaint, updated town with local and incredible dining, drinks and shopping. Need a hike? The Appalachian Trail has a few trailheads nearby. Taconic State Park has swimming and hiking available. Did I mention there are distilleries and breweries nearby for tastings and dinner?

Truly, the possibilities are endless!

Do you play the piano? A perfect inspiration to play or compose at the spinet that looks out the enormous skylight into the canopy of the trees. Taking a relaxing dip in the jacuzzi at night, under the starlit sky, with music playing on the outdoor speakers is one of life's great indulgences. Playing a rousing game of Cornhole in "King's Pen" with a cooler of beer and soda to keep things truly chill is what summers are for. Grilling your favorite meal outside while your favorite Spotify is playing and your family is dancing around on the deck should make your heart swell with happiness.
