In great location with a great character!
The apartment is in the perfect location, close to everything. Such a great size for 3-4 people with a great feel to the place. Will definitely be returning to Budapest!
Quiet spacious apartment in the center of Budapest
Perfect location: 5 min walk to St Stefan‘s Cathedral and end stop of airport express bus 100E. The owner provided very good instructions on how to get into the apartment so we could find and unlock it with no problem. The staircase to the apartment requires renovation, but the apartment itself is renovated and clean. There was more than enough space for the three of us: 1 big bedroom and one studio consisting of a kitchen and a sleeping area. Both sleeping places were equipped with standard IKEA beds which is much more comfortable than sofas or other convertibles. The beds were already made as we arrived and there were enough towels for everyone. Despite its central location the apartment was quiet. The only inconvenience we encountered during our stay was that the windows faced the external corridor with the pathway to the apartments and the light in it turned automatically on every time somebody passed by. Thick dark drapes would fix this. I would definitely recommend this apartment in Budapest.
As described lovely spacious apartment with everything you need .
Property as described spacious .TV with English films .Full sized fridge freezer and at the rear of the property so no street noise.Situated centrally for Deak Ferek and Opera tubes .Lots of beautiful restaurants ruin bars and shops including designer shops within 5 mins walking.
Good location and cosy apartment
Has everything we needed and was in best location - close to metro and lots of bars and clubs.
Great location, large and comfortable with some quirks
The location of this apartment can't be beat. It's right in the center of the Jewish quarter - many bars and restaurants nearby. However, with the layout of the apartment you don't get any street noise. It's also large, comfortable beds, and nicely decorated.
It's a bit odd in that the apartment windows look out into the open air hallway, so unless you keep the curtains drawn anyone passing by (who lives/works in the building) can look in at you. It was also quite hot in July, and there was no fan, so we had to choose between privacy or a breeze in the room.
Additionally, the toilet is a german toilet (google it if you don't know what it is) and we had to buy additional toilet paper because only two rolls were provided for three people over 4 nights.
I would recommend this place, but at a cooler time of year so there isn't the breeze/privacy tradeoff.
Fine stay, great town
A nice apt and location. A little difficult to find but that's part of the adventure and not a problem if you just put a little thought into it. You will be in a hopping part of town, so you may experience revelers coming home at 2 and 3 in the morning, as we did. Not noisy, mind you, but turning on outside lights. If this bothers you, bring a sleep mask. Otherwise it's clean, quiet and secure.
