This historic home was built in 1882 and served as Eufaula's original town jail prior to its restoration as a city park and now a residential home. Eufaula's "Old Town Jail" is currently listed on the national register of historic places and is one of many historic structures in the town of Eufaula. Beautifully restored and renovated, the home still contains its original features, but includes all the modern amenities and comforts. You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

Jailhouse Relaxation

The Jailhouse is a beautiful, clean spacious home with a knockout view of Lake Eufaula. We truly enjoyed the novelty of being in this old building and had fun imagining how the original Jail was set up. The only disappointment was the landscaping. The yard needed a major spring cleaning! Such a great outdoor space that needs a bit of love to give it that wow factor. Take advantage of the great oak and Magnolia tree. The location was great.! very close to good fishing and wonderful restaurants, particularly the Cajun Corner. Thanks for a delightful weekend!.

A unique and beautiful home and grounds that is peaceful & relaxing. Great location. If you enjoy bird watching as we do - bring binoculars - this location provides plenty of opportunties from the back covered deck and the patio over looking the lake. We are already discussing a return visit.
