About this property

Modern farmhouse meets coastal living at the Hideaway at Dreamcatcher Ranch. "The Hideaway" is a 1200 square foot guesthouse located on 20 acres of rural land in Santa Rita Hills wine country. You have 20 acres of land to explore, watch the wildlife, and admire gorgeous views. The guest house is attached to the main house ( a separate rental). Wine taste in our Santa Rita Hills wine country escape and watch the sunsets right from the patio. Or choose to heat up the spa and enjoy the view from the hot tub. Don't be surprised when you are sitting outside and see a family of deer, a bob cat, some wild turkeys, a great horned owl, or the hawk that lives at the end of the property. The land is filled with wildlife! You are a 10-15 minute drive from dozens of vineyards and wine tasting rooms such as Spear, Melville, and Babcock. We are kid friendly! Between the land to explore on and the spring free trampoline, the kids will be kept busy. We are about a ten minute drive from La Purisma Golf Course and the La Purisma Mission. There are gorgeous trails for hiking. Places to horse back ride and go fishing. We are 20 minutes from Buellton and Solvang, and 30 minutes from Los Olivos. All small towns with great food, shopping and wine tasting. The Hideaway is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend, a family trip, or a girls weekend away. We can't wait to host you!

*Please note that that pool is not for the guest house rental. There is a spa for the guest house that can be heated for $50/night.

* Please also note that the main house is sometimes used my four family OR is also rented out. If you want to know if there will be people using the main house, please message with owner.

* Please note that there are videos cameras outside the house and around the pool and spa areas.

Perfect Weekend

My family and I all agreed it was the perfect weekend. The property is beautiful. It’s tucked away, but the directions were easy to follow. Everything inside was immaculate. We would love to come back anytime.

Incredible property! Will definitely stay again!

This property is gorgeous inside and out! They absolutely nailed modern farm house and clearly spared no expense in remodeling this property. It was spotlessly clean, comfy, cozy, fun, beautifully decorated, well appointed, and very welcoming. This is the type of property you just want to exist in! It was perfect for my family. Super comfy beds, great kitchen with everything you could possibly need, great spaces for the kids to play, and wandering around the 20 acre property was a blast. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place for a family reunion! Absolutely worth the money and we will be staying here again!

Hi! I am Kari. My husband Joe and I purchased Dreamcatcher Ranch in 2020 and have been renovated the home. We currently live in Orange County, but spend as much time as we can up at the ranch. We built the guesthouse (The Hideaway), which is adjacent to the main house, to rent to other families and friends who are love wine tasting and outdoor California adventure life we do. The property is not just a rental property. It is our family's vacation home. We love spending time there. It is truly a sacred place to us. We hope that it brings you much of the joy it brings us.

Why they chose this property

This property is truly an escape and a retreat. You feel like you are secluded and away from the noise of the world, but you really are only 15- 20 minutes away from stores and the local towns if you need to get things or want to grab a bite to eat. The view of looking over the 20 acres of land and the Santa Rita hills and vineyards never gets old. You are free to roam the land and truly just enjoy the "escape" of the ranch.

We are minutes away from dozens of world class wine tasting rooms and vineyards. There are too many to even list. Google wine tasting in Santa Rita Hills and Santa Ynez and you will come up with tons of places to explore. We are 10 minutes away from La Purisma Golf Course which is one of the top ranked public courses in California. Schedule a trail ride for horse lovers or head over to Lake Cachuma to fish for the day. But to experience the beauty of the property, you do not even need to leave it. It truly is a treasure.
