I'm not one to leave a negative review and can probably count them on one hand of past lifetime experiences, but this place was NOT at all as described. For reference, our family has visited this area for over 20 years and have stayed in B&Bs, Inns, cabins, trailers, lodges, hotels, basements, and amish homes. We enjoy finding new places to stay overnight. This was the worst...by far...hands down.
First, it is located FEET from the street. You will not sleep, it is loud...period. I had to message the owner to find out the address as they never followed up with check in directions. She then messaged me with the address and the door code (didn't know there was one until then). As soon as you open the door, you are greeted with the aroma of old/musty/moldy air. There are 4 different flooring styles within a 10sq ft area attempting to cover the floor dips from the age of the house. The small bathroom hallway greeted us with an extension cord that was HANGING from the ceiling through a disconnected smoke detector to a ceiling mounted television for you to watch I'm assuming from the hot tub in the next room (???). Under no way shape or form were we going to shower in the shower lined with mildew all around the floors. My gift giving tissue paper is stronger than the toilet paper they left us to use. And if you are over the height of 5'7", you are in big trouble if you go upstairs!!! You will HIT YOUR HEAD. This is a very old building with a poor attempt at trying to update it with a modern light fixture. I wish I could get my money back. Our family hates to leave this area and go back home to reality, but this was the first time EVER that we left a place before 6AM to get home! It was horrible.
