King Bedroom downstairs, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new floors, fresh paint, and full bathroom downstairs near the game/lounge room off kitchen. Expansive lake views from the beautifully appointed and open living and dining rooms complete with a new leather couch and gas fireplace. Upstairs find a bedroom with twin bunk beds and a twin trundle as well as a double bed and oversized closet. Off the landing find another adorable bedroom with twin bunk beds, a trundle, and access to the upstairs screened porch. Across the hall find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. And finally, the Master Suite off the screened balcony with King bed, soaking tub, shower and dual vanities (currently one of thaws sinks is not operable due to leak soon-to-be addressed) under a skylight. Down on the beach, there's a fire ring for roasting s'mores and a large dock to fish and enjoy the sunsets. With 2 Paddleboards/SUPs, 2 kayaks, PingPong Table, an outdoor shower, and a Shuffleboard table there's endless fun to be had! Great family weekend

This property is the perfect weekend lake house. From sitting around the dining table to cornhole on the patio and fishing, swimming and kayaking on the lake, there is something for everyone.

Lake life!

Comfortable home for 2 families to relax on the lake and explore the surrounding areas. Plenty of nature and a little history nearby, or just chill on the dock and paddle around the lake.

Great vacation home!

The property was exactly as described in the listing. My husband and I and my in-laws stayed at the property. There's not much to do in the area, but that is what we were looking for. That being said, there are attractions within an hour or so if that's what you're looking for. There's plenty to do at the property. You can fish off the dock, play ping pong, corn hole, and table top shuffleboard. There's a PS4 for the kids, as well. The king beds are the best beds we've ever slept on! Darcy was very attentive. Any time I texted her, she responded in a reasonable amount of time. If you're looking for a quiet vacation spot I recommend this property.

Though I grew up in Lakeland, FL my family and I first visited Crooked Lake in 2019. My boys fell in love with tubing and fishing, and my husband and I fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere the lake and the small town provided. Hiking the trails, swimming off the dock, fishing for bass, (& even duck hunting in season) confirmed we wanted our own Crooked Home to share with friends and family. Though we love to travel and have visited many of our country's amazing National Parks, we now look forward to spending time a little closer to home (to accommodate busy soccer tournament weekends and football and basketball games:)

Why they chose this property

With 2 King bedrooms, 2 rooms with twin bunks and twin trundles, a double, AND a futon there's plenty of space to lounge, but WHY?!?!?!? Get out on Florida's most pristine lake with over 4000 acres of clean fresh water to fish, tube, kayak, canoe, wakeboard, or duck hunt. Then rinse off in the outdoor shower before enjoying the fire ring on the beach for s'mores or sunset watching - JUMP OFF THE DOCK! GET CROOKED!
(if you don't like the natural Florida experience, play Ping Pong on the patio, shuffleboard in the game room, PS4, or drive in under an hour to Disney!)
