About this property

Comfy Cabin in the North Woods -Snowmobilers, Ice Fishing and Skiing

Super comfy cabin located on the 36 acre Twin Placid South on the Fence Lake Chain and is only 15 minutes from Minocqua or Woodruff and ideally located for snowmobiling or skiing. With the snowmobile trails only a couple hundred feet from the end of the driveway this cabin is perfect for the snowmobile enthusiast. Also, all of the ski hills in the Upper Penninsula are about one hour away.

If you are up for some night life, Lake of the Torches gambling casino is only a 15 minute car ride or a nice snowmobile ride away. There are also multiple supper clubs and bars in and around the area.

Lake Placid Inn is about 1-1/2 miles away (the other side of Twin Placid North) and features one of the best breakfasts in the North Woods. Black Bear Bar is a short snowmobile ride or a couple mile car ride away and features pizza, burgers, fish and great onion rings.

Great Cottage Getaway
We stayed in the three bedroom cabin. It was extremely neat and had every amenity. There is a nice large table for big groups and made an excellent jigsaw puzzle table. The living space was cozy. We peeked at the 3 season room, but stayed in the winter so didn't get to take advantage of it. Definitely worth the trip!

I enjoy snowmobiling and have had this cabin in our family for over 40 years. My kids are all big kids now and they have grown up visiting our cabin for their entire lives. The North woods truly are a special place. The snow mobile trails in Northern Wisconsin are some of the best in the world and you can travel virtually anywhere via sled.

Me and my family hope to allow others to experience all that we have all these years.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is conveniently located far enough from the City of Minocqua that you are secluded but close enough that if you need something from town it is only a 15 minute car ride away.

What makes this property unique

On a lake, beautiful tall pine trees, large asphalt driveway, three season room, Comfortable and clean.
