What a beautiful peaceful location to enjoy time with friends. This lake is now my favorite place to be and will definitely return. It was great to have 3 floors for all of us to spread out and have our space when needed. The location and view is spectacular and relaxing.
Beware that there are many stairs and a hill which can be a challenge for some (we're in our 50's and 60's). Those that are up for the exercise, you will find the boat dock to be an absolute perfect place to be. The water was warm, clean and calm in our little cove.
There were a couple amenities that one would want to consider bringing such as grill utensils (could not find any if there were some), extra toilet paper, bath wash cloths and dish towels.
The inside of the house is well appointed and clean. I did notice dirty windows in some areas but the main windows were clean and had a great view of the lake. This was the only reason I gave a 4 star for cleanliness.
The patio with the firepit could use some adirondack chairs and tlc but we did not have a need to be in this area since we were not using it. Some updates have and are being done to the house and I'm assuming the above will be addressed as well. (Hopefully a shower door in the basement bath)
We all agreed that it would be nice to have more chairs and a table at the dock so we didn't have to lug additional chairs down and back up that hill. Also, a second kayak would be awesome so you don't have to go alone.
