Great Location, Not Clean or As Listed
We were truly looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, the poor conditions were just too much for our family and we left without staying even 1 night of the 7 we were booked for.
- There was way too much dust in this home and we had adults and children with allergies. The air vents and ceiling fans had layers of dust. The house also smelled of what seemed like dog/cat/pet/animal dander or urine, although it could have been anything. It was just a strong odor. My wife had an instant reaction to one or all of the above, which required an urgent care visit and prescribed medication.
- We had come with the intention of spending time with family and being able to cook. The oven could not be used due to burnt on food that would cause smoke if the oven were turned on.
- There were bugs on the kitchen floor, and ants carrying them along.
- The smoke alarms were tampered with/disconnected.
- The chairs at the dining room table were not secure (very unstable).
- There were beer bottle caps around the house (we threw most of them away).
- The back porch chairs were in disarray, and the table was completely broken and placed towards the back of the yard.
- The attic door is warped, allowing for outside allergens.
- The couches in the living room were stained and had holes/buttons missing.
- The leather of the chair by the window in the living room was breaking apart all over.
- The pool table was in awful condition.
- There were bug nests all over rn the front porch.
