About this property

Welcome to the ‘Wigwam’. This quaint cottage underwent a major renovation completed in 2021. Our interior designers created fresh vibrant spaces while keeping the character of the historic home. We love sharing our happy place!

This four bedroom cottage was built in 1860 as one of the original homes on Kelleys Island. You will enjoy the modern open concept kitchen space with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a farmhouse sink.
The dining area features a vintage harvest table, original to the cottage, with built in seating for up to 10. This is a perfect spot for dinners or games. Also, a coffee bar and beverage fridge await guests.

The living area has a Smart TV with a comfy sectional, additional seating, and many family board games are available.

The front porch has more seating, a table and chairs for games, puzzles, or morning coffee.

The first floor has bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom.

Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms: one with a queen bed, one with a full bed and the third has three single beds.

Also included is a guest house with a queen bed, sleeper sofa, kitchenette and full bath.

A large patio area offers a gas grill, dining set, and fire pit perfect for s’mores.

A large yard is great for for outdoor activities; corn hole is provided.

Six vintage island bicycles are also included.

Small business retreat

Our work team visited for a retreat. The property and the island were a perfect chance to reset and recharge. Fall is absolutely beautiful there. Our group of 6 women and 3 men had plenty of privacy and room to sleep. The cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed!

Perfection on KI

This property and its owner provide perfection on KI. First, the property and house are adorable and stocked with everything needed to enjoy the stay on the island. The location is amazing. The outdoor patio and firepit area allows for morning coffee and nighttime stargazing. The house is decorated with care and provides the feel of Island time. It is clean, spacious and full of amenities. The second building is a wonderful 2 person suite decorated with the same island vibe. Joe, the property owner, is wonderful to work with. He can answer questions promptly, provide a local’s knowledge of the island and is super helpful. Our entire party loved every aspect of this property. We will be back to KI and will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

This house is absolutely beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. Joe was very helpful and informative. Super super cute home! The only recommendation would be a bigger trash can in the garage. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here. Thanks Joe for allowing us to enjoy this piece of paradise.
