About this property

Newly built 3 bedroom, year round 2 level cottage on beautiful Lake Muskoka.
Enjoy the scenic view from the wall of windows from the living room, dining room and kitchen. This open concept cottage invites you to relax and take in the view of the lake and the surrounding forest. The second level has a loft with a futon, and a Primary bedroom with an ensuite.
The cottage is perched on Muskoka granite, and there are multiple stairs down to the dock. But once on the dock, you won't want to leave.
Please bring your own drinking water.

Minimum 2 night stay during the off season ( Sept. to June 17, 2023); weekly rentals from June 17 to Sept. 2, 2023.
Must be 25 years of age to rent.
Must have home insurance that covers vacation rentals.

Quality & Professional

Owners are close by and are professional, kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful, beds are comfortable, and the dock (and view) are everything you associate to staying at a cottage in Muskoka.

Cottage at Barlochan Lookout

Loved our stay! Right on the lake. Simply amazing. Built and designed by ken and his son. All details were attended to from purofief water to lovely linens. Spacious and new. Well maintained by wonderful hosts. They even brought us kindling wood and fire starters. Will definitely come back!

Amazing cottage experience

We had a great week at the cottage—everything was well done at the cottage and all the amenities were fantastic. Tara and Ken are wonderful hosts. Would stay again.

My husband and I have had the good fortune of living in Muskoka for over 30 years. We have raised our family here and enjoy all the seasons. We take part in hiking and biking, as well as kayaking in the area.

Barlochan Lookout is on a bay on Walker's Point. There is boating access to the big three lakes; We are situated between Bala and Gravenhurst
Close to the Torrance Barrens, you can enjoy the dark night sky right from the dock.
Close to Bala , Port Carling and Gravenhurst for shopping and browsing.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is close to Walker's Point Marina, which offers boat docking. There is a Starbucks at the Marina.
Also, located close to Hardy Lake Park, which offers wonderful hiking trails and fantastic scenery.
