You can do most everything right out your door or less than a 45 min. drive. You have a large choice of restaurant in the Valley area to meet your price needs. If you want 4 star dinning there is Plump Jacks just 2 min. walk from your room, Gramm's just down the road 1/2 mile if you prefer to drive there is also Squaw Creek a short drive away both of these restaurant require reservations they are somewhat small but very intimate never had a bad meal at either never eaten dinner at Squaw Creek but does have a Renowned Chef there. They're brunch is fantastic highly recommended. If price is no object you must go.

There are other world class restaurant near by at Truckee and Tahoe City. Or you can drive to Reno about 45min drive depending on road conditions. Or go to visit the Wild West town of Virginia City about 30 min out of Reno plan on at least a half day there you really get the feel of the Old West! Great for kids to experience, but take your Credit Card you will be amazed of the shopping we rarely leave empty handed.
