The unit also received all new furniture including king size beds for both master suites, televisions and decorations during the remodel. No expense has been spared!

Kawama is located in the heart of Key Largo just two miles south of John Pennekamp Park. There are near by fishing and dive boat fleets offering both group and private charters as well as many great local eateries offering the best in fresh sea-food and key lime pie. The Theater of the Sea and The Dolphin Research Center are both just miles away and both offer one on one dolphin interaction as well as many educational marine shows and tours. The famous Post Card Inn Resort and Sandbar (formerly known as Holiday Isle) is right down the road as well as the some of the best boating Florida has to offer.

The second floor features a bright open living room, updated kitchen with all new appliances, one full bathroom and front and rear balconies. The front balcony houses a brand new gas grill while the rear balcony has a screen enclosure and plush outdoor seating. The third floor houses the two master suites both complete with new furniture and private balconies as well as the spacious updated master bath. The feature that really sets this unit apart from the rest is the spacious private wood deck which is a great place for the whole family to gather. The unit also comes with a custom lifted 2006 Club Car golf cart which seats four and is perfect for exploring the grounds or driving out to the point for some fishing or breath taking views of the keys sunset.

Trailer parking and use of the community boat ramp is included with this rental. Dock slips are available in the Marina as well as kayaks and paddle boards.

About Jarrett

I am a firefighter in the south Florida area and a Marine in the Marine Corps. Reserves. I have been vacationing in the Keys since I was a kid and have always dreamed of owning a vacation home of my own. Since returning from Iraq my dream finally seamed feasible and finally came to fruition. I truly love this property and have put a lot of hard work into it. I hope you will rent the property and enjoy it as much as I have.

Jarrett purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Jarrett chose Key Largo

I chose this property because of all that the community had to offer. With multiple pools, a private beach, marina, playground, tennis courts and a lagoon There really aren't any other communities that have all of the amenities in the Key Largo area. The ideal boating location and in house boat parking and launching ramp are really the icing on the cake.

What makes this townhome unique

While staying at my property in Key Largo I enjoy relaxing at the beautiful beaches and some of the best boating the world has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I traveled to Key Largo with a family of six. We were pleasantly surprised by the property to say the least. The updates that Jarrett has done are beautiful. The home is comfortable and well stocked and Jarrett is a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful townhouse.

Perfect house and perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this house based on the # of rooms and proximity to a family wedding. The size of the house was perfect, and having a lagoon beach, park and two pools was perfect! We traveled with my 19 month old and there was a nice variety to keep her (and the adults) entertained. We were in a great location to beaches, restaurants and bars. The owner was great about answering questions and providing recommendations from the day we booked up until we checked in!

Perfect family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 10 with 6 boys ranging from 10 to 17 y/o, and 4 adults. The townhouse was perfect for us. We are budget conscious and we cooked in all meals except one for the week. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also used the grill on the side deck which was perfect we used this side deck as our landing station from swimming, snorkeling and fishing. Great place to keep your swim shoes,,poles, tackle, snorkeling gear, swim toys. We used the swim noodles they keep at the townhouse. Beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and linens, showers are wonderful. The air conditioner works great. Golf cart was so convenient. We loved the condo and Kawama Club. The swimming salt water lagoon was a hit with our guys. We are lake people so my kiddos are used to swimming in lagoon type waters.. The water platforms became their hangout to dribble soccer. They also loved paddleboarding the lagoon. I loved floating on a raft in the water. The pools and beach areas were great. Plenty of seats and shade. Absolutely loved all the iguanas. My sons went to the trees by the huge gazebo every morning to see the gathering of iguanas. I watched the sunrise every morning from the jetty. The whole group hung out on the jetty. We fished , snorkeled, watched sunrises, sunsets and moon rises. While I snorkeled there, i saw some amazing stingrays.. Every night, we ended our evenings playing cards in the lighted gazebo. It's a gathering place wih plenty of tables. The people at Kawama are nice, you will find a good mix. We drove and stopped at Wal-Mart in Florida city to load up before checking into our condo. The closest grocery was Publiix and there are Winn Dixies also. We went to John Pennecamp for a day for snorkeling and, kayaking. Our group loved this. We did a day where we went to Robbies Marina and fed the tarpons and then went on to Sombrero beach. Beautiful. Had picnic areas, playgrounds, bathrooms. Another day we went to 7 mile bridge., We hung out at Veterans Beach. . We snorkeles and saw a shark. We also saw someone catch a hammerhead shark. We walked part of 7 mile bridge and saw starfish, sea cool. we were going to rent wave runners in marathon but anyone born after 1988 had to have a boaters permit in order to operate the waverunner. we wanted our 17 y/o to drive it so we ended up not doing it. Book in advance if you want to go. The restaurant we ate at was Skippers. it was fabulous.

What a great place to stay while in The Keys!

  • 5 of 5

Jarrett was very helpful and timely with our questions prior to our stay. His home was clean, well decorated, and updated with all amenities that our family needed. The resort was great. Great location within close proximity to restaurants and the newest Publix in town. We hope to return to The Keys some day and will most definitely look to return to Jarrett's townhouse.

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were very satisfied with the condo. Everything was in great shape and up to date. The only negative was we couldn't stay longer. I contacted the owner with one question and he was very helpful and happy to speak to us on a Saturday afternoon. I would recommend this place.
