Tranquility Bay Cottage is picture perfect for relaxation, with a private T-head fishing pier, large deck, cozy open floor plan, and panoramic views of Galveston Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway or small family trip, you’ll reel in great memories all day long.

This charming retreat boasts a comfortable living area with a plush couch, leather recliner, and stunning views through the wall of windows. The family chef can even enjoy a glimpse of the water from the fully-equipped kitchen. Cook up your fresh catch with the stainless steel appliances, pots, pans, and utensils provided, or serve delicious local takeout at the convenient breakfast bar.

When it’s time to hit the hay, rest easy on comfortable furnishings. The primary suite’s queen bed overlooks beautiful wetland views, plus the room opens out onto a covered deck that’s the perfect spot for birding. Freshen up in the en suite bathroom with dual vanities and large walk-in shower. The queen sleeper sofa sleeps 2 more guests and boasts beautiful sunsets over the bay. A laundry room with a full size washer & dryer makes it easy to pack light for longer trips.

You’ll feel right at home in the updated interior, but the panoramic bay and wetland views are even better from outside. Relax on the partially shaded deck or head down to the private T-head fishing pier. Cast lines morning and night, or grab your binoculars to spot different birds around the area. After a day of fun in the sun, you'll look forward to grilling out and dining al fresco along the water!

On the West End, you’ll find miles and miles of beaches, birding sanctuaries, boat ramps, great fishing spots (beaches, bay & canal) as well as restaurants, groceries, gas and banking.

In-town attractions are an easy, short drive away – The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Historic Downtown Galveston, the Tall Ship Elissa at Pier 23, and many others.

PROPERTY CARE & HOUSEKEEPING
All Sand `N Sea Properties are non-smoking.

Our Housekeeping and Inspecting teams take care of preparing each home before every guest. They follow current CDC and Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP) guidelines.

Sheets & bath towels are included with every reservation. Standard beds will already be made, ready for your arrival. Bunk beds and sleeper sofas will have a freshly laundered linen bundle available for your use.

We want to help get your trip off to an easy start, so all homes include a set of starter supplies: a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, dishwashing soap, and shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap for the bathrooms.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY
Sand 'N Sea Properties is committed to good neighbor policies that provide the best experience possible for our vacation rental guests and our island neighbors. We share neighborhood HOA policies & city ordinance information with each of our guests via our rental policies, text & email reminders, and our Guest Portal.

We welcome family groups and responsible adult guests where leaseholders are a minimum of 25 years of age. Parties, reunions, proms and other gatherings are not allowed at any Sand `N Sea vacation homes.

Stay During Ironman Race
We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon and wanted a quiet place to stay. My husband doesn't race, but loves to fish, so I thought this would be a perfect place for both of us ... and it was. We loved the out-of-the-way location, and the views are wonderful. Communications with property manager were very good. Cottage was clean and bed was comfortable. Fishing pier was great to have. Lots of birds to observe, although those darn laughing gulls are quite noisy. I would highly recommend this home.
