This lovely condo is perfect for guests looking to relax in a friendly setting with incredible views. Lounge with ease on the living room's corner sofa, or enjoy the private balcony's bright seating. The full kitchen indoors is well-stocked and outfitted with full-size appliances and an extra-long breakfast bar for conversations while cooking. One bedroom features a desk workspace for guests who wish to work remotely during their stay. If you're just getting back from the beach, the private washer/dryer will help you take care of the towels and swimsuits. Everything is included for guests to have a lovely stay near the shore, including a fireplace-style space heater for winding down in comfort. The pool is perfect for refreshing dips whenever you please, while the seasonal hot tub encourages soothing soaks.

Absolutely gorgeous and secluded from the rest of the city, this oceanside complex will be the perfect way to get a bit of peace and quiet by the water. Start each day with a leisurely walk along the coast, as Westport Light Trail is mere steps from your front door. When you want to venture out a bit further, check out Grays Harbor Lighthouse before heading into the main drag of town (just over a mile away). Be sure to pop into the local shops and restaurants while in the area, as you won't be disappointed!

PROS: That view! Large, open floor plan with a nice balcony and a cute faux fireplace. Comfortable couch and beds. Well-stocked bathrooms, and small library with toys and games. Nice work desk. CONS: If you plan to eat out every night, kitchen will do just fine. But if you plan to cook, bring your own supplies such as foil, coffee filters (the permanent one left sludge in our cups until we lined it with paper towels), tall kitchen trash bags, plastic wrap/bags (no bowls with lids for storage), frying pan, measuring cup for liquid, glass serving bowls, serving spoons (there's only one).

Beautiful view
The view of the condo and the cleanliness of the condo I would rate high. The difficulty that we had with the condo was the front door code, and it not working for us in order to enter the condo. Because this issue was never resolved with the management, each time we left the unit, the door was left unlocked. This unit required you entering a code in order to get into the condo and having to turn a deadbolt that spun in circles and then pull down on a latch in order to enter. This was difficult for myself, and my two friends to enter a code very fast and try to push down on a deadbolt that appeared to be broken. We all suffer from arthritis in our hands, and this was frustrating and extremely irritating. The management staff ignored our text to see if they had found a resolve to the situation. Each time that we left the condo, we had to just hope nobody would enter it because the door was unlocked. I would never rent this unit again. They need to come up with a much easier way to enter the unit. I have stayed at several of these units over past years and I have never experienced a issue like this.

A Good Selection for a Visit...HOWEVER...
This condo is a great option for couples or families. But two complaints: (1) the carpet in the entire unit needs to be replaced or get a very deep cleaning. Massive stains in numerous places in the 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo and it was very musty smelling. We were shocked, quite frankly, and we contacted Vacasa sending them photos of the stains. We hope that anyone staying in the unit in the future has cleaner carpets. (2) There was no information sheet provided to us visitors. We have rented MANY vacation units across the US and every place in which we have stayed had an information sheet or binder providing visitor/renter information such as how to use the TV/cable system, appliances, etc. All it takes is a one-page sheet with information to help the visitor have a more pleasant stay in the unit. Case in point: this unit has an antiquated garbage disposal; no turn on switch. I jokingly said, “What are we supposed to do, push down on the sink stopper?” Yep, that’s what it took.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jewel by the Sea! Great ocean views from the comfortable well appointed kitchen, dining and living room. The unit is well kept and very clean. Along with a comfortable bed made for a great all round experience.
