Welcome to Cedar Ledge Cottage! This recently updated, bright cottage features beautiful easterly views of Casco Bay, open, sunlit living spaces, comfortable bedrooms, and is located just a short walk away from Cedar Beach. You'll love the ocean breezes, shaded porch, and easy access to local restaurants and shops.

Inside the cottage you'll find an open concept living room and eat-in kitchen with seating for four and large picture windows that fill the space with natural sunlight and sweeping ocean views. The living room opens to the master bedroom with a king bed and ocean views. Next door, there is a second bedroom with two twin beds and a shared full bathroom with a walk-in shower. From the living room, you enter the breezeway/front entrance with a washer and dryer and access to a shaded porch with table and chairs for four to relax and enjoy.

Outside, you'll love the sunny, open lot and friendly neighborhood, great for walking. From the cottage, you are within walking distance of Cedar Beach (0.4mi), the Bailey Island General Store (0.4mi), Fishnet Cafe (0.4mi), Mackerel Cove (0.8mi), Cook's Lobster & Ale House (1.1mi) and H2Outfitters and Salt Cod Cafe (1.3mi) just over the Cribstone Bridge. Come enjoy all Bailey Island has to offer from this lovely ocean view home!

Dogs under 20 pounds are welcome (a non-refundable pet fee applies).

Note- The owners of this wonderful home are located next door and the driveway is shared. Given the proximity to neighbors, we do ask that guests respect quiet time between 10pm and 7am.

Bailey island cottage

small but amazing views and great location with walkable to Cedar Beach...best Lobster roll ever at Iris restaurant on Rt 24 !!! renovated a couple or years ago perfect for a couple....only nit pick is for these prices we shouldn't have to make the bed!!!

Cedar Ledge Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the cottage and the location. It had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days. We enjoyed the views of Casco Bay watching the fishing boats while sipping our coffee. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were lovely. The service from MaineStay was great! Would definitely rent there again.

Drinking water problems

After we made our non-refundable booking, the property manager let us know that drinking water quality might be a concern. They were right: the water that came out of the taps and shower smelled bad (sort of like pond water) and was unusable for drinking, cooking, etc. This might be a general issue on the island but the owner/manager should take responsibility to include this information in the listing, and/or provide bottled water for guests. On the plus side, the place was very clean, in a nice location, and had some "extras" not shown in the photos, like a new front deck for water views.
