Quiet neighborhood and perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Dreams Villa. The house was perfect for our family of four (two teenage boys). The neighborhood is quiet and a perfect location for our family that likes to explore. The house is less than a minute walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful, small and quiet. Tamara was wonderful to our family. She provided us with answers to our questions, made the most delicious food and was welcoming to our family. Karen called to check in and was available if needed. I would highly recommend this spot!

Lovely Stay

Villa was quaint and comfortable. Staff was lovely and the host very communicative. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it for sure.

lovely villa in jamaica neighborhood with quiet beach

we had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated, updated villa. Mickey and Cassie did a wonderful job cooking and cleaning for us. Our teens enjoyed getting to know some 'locals' and they were so pleasant and attentive. The beach and water a few minute walk from the villa was gorgeous, clear, warm, blue caribbean! We took two snorkeling trips out to the reef with Mickey's friend and enjoyed this private snorkeling immensely. We never wanted to leave!

Amazing

My family and I just returned from an wonderful 5 day stay at Ocean Dreams Villa. The home itself was exactly as described on the website. It was spotless, well-appointed and spacious. The location was simply amazing. We were steps from the the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. While not a private beach, it almost felt that way. The only other people on the beach were other tourists like us and some local families enjoying the waves...the most crowded day, I would estimate about 20 folks total. My kids were snorkeling in the waters next to the house and spotted octopus, rock fish, skates and other critters. The staff at our home were the kindest, most helpful people we could have hoped for. Mikey made sure our week was perfect and safe. He picked us up at the airport and was with us every step of the way whether that be the grocery store or driving us to and from excursions. Mikey used his countless local connections to find a snorkeling boat and other fun stuff for us to take part in. We would have been lost without him!! Cassie was the sweetest ever. She cooked every meal, did all of our laundry and spent the week answering my endless questions about Jamaican culture, language and norms to help my family understand the country so much more. Both she and Mikey have an open invitation at my house if they ever make it to the States!!! Karen was an amazing host. Although she was not even in Jamaica at the time of my visit, she was available by messenger to answer all of my questions before the trip and checked in by phone on our final day to make sure that the home and trip met expectations. This property is for folks looking for a bit of the "real" Jamaica. This is NOT a resort. If you like that kind of vacation with tons of tourists, crowded beaches, night clubs, etc., this is not the place for you. This is for people looking for a quiet beach vacation where they can walk, meet some local residents and fisherman, and experience the island in a way that the resorts cannot offer.

Beauty Beach

The perfect getaway for my family and myself. The views were breathtaking, The water was so blue! The house was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. Mikey and Joy were extremely nice and accommodating. The food that Mikey prepared was delicious represented the local fare. The transportation provided by the host was also great. Mikey always responded to questions quickly and always made himself avaliable. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with the most amazing views....look no further! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

I was born and educated in London UK and have been visiting Jamaica since I was a young girl and now visit regularly to spend time with family and unwind. I use to work for international law firms as a Legal PA then became an Executive Assistant of a leading trading company to the CEO and Executive Management team. I also have a background in all things property from management and lettings to interior design and refurbishment/development.

It has always been a dream of mine from a young girl growing up and enjoying family holidays to this beautiful island to own a piece of Jamaica and where better than by the Caribbean sea.

It is exactly that, a unique villa, steps from the beach in a friendly, peaceful community and relaxing setting. It is also ideally located within easy reach of tourist attractions, 35 minutes drive from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. It is located just 15 minutes drive from the Martha Brae River #1 rafting attraction on the island where you can experience and enjoy a wonderful rafting tour with a guide and enjoy the calm, slow-moving river under the shade of huge trees on a bamboo raft or 10 minutes drive away you'll find Glistening Waters a glowing lagoon, home to microorganisms called dinoflagellates where the fresh water from the Martha Brae meets the salt water ocean forming this creation. At night the lagoon sparkles and glistens when disturbed producing a glow which you can also swim in and said to be the largest and brightest of four in the world, plus many more attractions nearby.
