About this property

Breathtaking River Front Cabin at RMNP with Hot Tub

You can’t stay any closer to the river because it is no longer allowed. Modern Rustic year-round 2-bedroom cabin on the edge of Thompson River just minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. Fish steps from your front door.

Imagine waking up in the morning to the gentle sound of a river in front of your cabin while the sun shines through the pine trees and the wind serenades your arrival in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Sip on your hot coffee or tea as you snuggle in front of the fireplace or your front porch depending on the season as you await for your family to awaken from their slumber. Listen to the bacon frying while you prepare pancakes or French toast as your hungry bears awaken before a day of exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. Welcome to the “Bear Den”.

Slow down and introduce your loved ones to the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life as your parents and grandparents once did for you.

Relaxing!
We had our daughters wedding in Beavercreek and came to Bear Den for a week of relaxation afterwardsZ it was exactly what we wanted and RMNP was amazing!! Great hikes and wonderful scenery and wildlife. Emily was a great help and very friendly. The river was so high and fast! No fishing but fun to watch. Thanks for a great time!

Perfect cabin on the Big Thompson River. Remotely quiet while being just a few minutes drive to restaurants/bars/shopping. Friendly and helpful staff! Got married on the side of a mountain off Switzerland Trail :)

Relaxing Family Getaway
Fun and cozy cabin, stocked with all the essentials for a great stay! We were well taken care of from booking through check out. The fire pit was a fun addition and nothing beats a hot tub soak after a day in RMNP. We had a great time and are definely planning a return trip in the summer. Great job River Spruce team!
