Poorly updated home in an undesirable neighborhood

The host made an attempt to update the property, however most of the structural work is underwhelming. The furnishings are brand new, however the bathroom is the smallest I have ever experienced with a shower where you cannot move without hitting your head. We booked three nights and only stayed one night because the adults could not bathe comfortably without hitting our heads and the 4 year old child could not move around the house comfortably without the risk of getting hurt. The neighborhood was undesirable, kids playing on the street at midnight and the house has a large tree in front. Took us three rides through the block and getting help from the neighborhood kids to locate the house behind the tree. Overall, we were spooked out and could not complete our stay.

The house behind the trees

Please do not stay here. The house is not pictured and the host refused to provide a clear picture of the property. Red flag #1. The house is not safe, stairs to the backdoor (only entrance) are concrete, cracked and chipped. Kitchen ill-equipped with one fork, 4 spoons, 2 knives and a screwdriver. Linens provided included 3 bathtowels, 0 handtowels, 0 washcloths. All kinds safety obsticles including soft spots in stairs going up to second level, short flat step on last step that we all tripped on many times. Obviously, the house is not visible from the street which is a safety concern. More importantly, you cannot exit the porch front door from the inside which is a hazard if there is a fire in the back. I could go on and on. I was scammed. You will be too if you choose thisi property. Regards

I enjoyed my stay I was able to speak directly to the host to ask a few questions and the host was very kind and understanding my family and I really enjoyed ourselves
