No towels, broken shower and the list goes on...
We did not have a very good experience and decided to book a hotel for the remainder of our stay.
We arrived at the house after dark and the porch lights were off, making it difficult to see when trying to find our way to the backdoor and also made it hard to see when entering the code, which was not correct. The new code that was sent did not work, but thankfully the original code worked and we were able to get in. It was super cold inside. After searching all around, we were unable to find the house manual that was referenced in the check-in notes, so we had trouble figuring out the thermostat.
There were no bath towels available - after checking through all of the cabinets, closets, etc. I decided to grab a bunch of hand towels, only to find that the shower handle had broken off making it unusable. The tub was dirty with hair, etc so I didn't feel comfortable using that either.
There were no pillow cases on the pillows in the bunkbed room and the bunkbed itself was so rickety and noisy that it did not make for a very comfortable night's sleep.
Overall, we were just super disappointed and not comfortable at all, so we decided to stay somewhere else for the remaining nights.
I immediately contacted the owners but two weeks later they have still not gotten back to me with a solution. I reached out again a couple of days ago and haven't received a response back from that either.
