Close to beach and Pool
Great experience with children. We were close to the beach and pool so very little walk for little legs. The beach was a little further than pool but manageable. However you can drive you car onto the beach they have parking. Some beach goes would back up to the beach and just drop the pool stuff right there which makes for easy setup and cleanup.
The owner was very responsive. There was an issue upon arrival but he was very responsive on getting it solves and apologized.
The place was enough for our group for eating and hanging out. We did go in July and mosquitoes were out and we did not hang out a lot at night there due to little kids. I think bringing bug spray will help. It was also too hot to hang at night but the house does have a nice setup below with gas grill, gas firepit, (4) Aronidock chairs. The deck had a patio table and (2) additional Aronidock chairs.
The kitchen was well equipped with cooking supplies and seasoning. The king bed is very comfortable also. The kids loved the bunk room and they have a Graco pack n play that is easy to setup and use.
The drive to Kroger was about 25minutes each way. There are supermarkets before Kroger but unsure on their assortment and cost. The house is west of a lot of restaurants but we drove into Galveston one night then looked closer for options.
Overall a nice property and great to be on a quiet side of town with kids.
