This rustic Big Bear Lake Cabin has beautiful and original charm throughout.  This is an eclectic home featuring woodwork from “head to toe” and is so warm and inviting.  When you want a true cabin at the lake, look no further!

Just a stone’s throw away, the lake awaits you at Old Steelaway.  Enjoy the proximity to the village shops, restaurants, alpine slides, roller coaster, bowling, movies and marinas!  This truly is a perfect location.  

Kids will have fun playing at the pool table situated in the living area so the entire group can be together in one room.  There is an L-shaped couch and flat screen TV to enjoy your favorite movie. Complimentary WIFI provided and cable TV.

The kitchen is off the dining area and is stocked with all the basic amenities including a coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, gas range, (no dishwasher). Off the kitchen is a laundry area and bathroom.

Sit back and relax in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake and trees or take a quick walk down to the lake with a boat dock. This lot is huge with approximately 10,000 square feet to run around on.

Retreat indoors and cozy up next to the wood burning fireplace, while enjoying your favorite flick on the flat screen TV just above the rock fireplace. Or gather around the dining table for game night or a nice meal.

Upstairs, there are 4 charming bedrooms and 1 full bathroom including a bathtub.  There is also a bonus area, perfect for the kiddos looking for their own space to hang out in.

Note: DO NOT MOVE THE POOL TABLE! IF YOU MOVE THE POOL TABLE, your full deposit will be forfeited and any amounts over that for additional repairs.

They are 110 V and they take longer to heat up in the cold weather, if the spa has to be drained and refilled, if the top is left off or use for several hours.

Lake levels vary throughout the year and boat docks availability is not guaranteed at the time of your arrival. Destination Big Bear is not responsible for the level of water in the lake during the course of guest's stay. Please contact us to inquire about the most up-to-date lake levels for lakefront properties.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
