INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Fantastic location for our stay.

We really enjoyed this stay and property. Condo was perfect for our group of 9! Location was just where we wanted. We had access to the beach and pool without any issues. We will definitely look into this property when we decide to come back to PCB.

Nice, Convenient Location

Pros: great location, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, lots of space, quick elevators, multiple pools, hot tubs, beach access, pizza, coffee, donuts, ice machine (for purchase) all on the premises. Cons: beds very uncomfortable & noisey, not one extra blanket or pillow to be found, kitchen had the bare minimum, ice maker did not work & the kitchen in general was not very clean, we found 3 pacifiers under the couch and table in the kitchen, there was a Margarita Machine (which we thought was SO COOL) but it was so dirty, we didn't even want to touch it, the WiFi was out 75% of the time we were there (we reached out, maint. came, did no more than we already did, we reached out again, were told there was a router "somewhere in the room, probably in a closet", there was NOT a router in that room anywhere), we were without water 2 different times during our stay, we were never notified as to why, there was also an "emergency" during our stay, we were also never notified, what that "emergency" was, just happen to be driving back up the parking garage while it was all happening and no one would tell us anything. By the time we reached our floor, I guess the "emergency" was over. 4 drinks, $50 at the poolside bar, plugs in the master did not work at the bed side tables and the main overhead light in the master did not work either. This was definitely more like staying in a hotel rather than a condo, nothing personable at all. All this to say.....we did have an issue upon arrival with the parking garage and our trailer (our visit was during Bike Week) & apparently the trailer rules had changed (from the previous 8 years we have stayed at this property) & the EXTREMELY RUDE parking lot attendants were quite unhelpful. The condo company did help us through this situation and reimbursed us our parking expenses for having to unexpectedly park our trailer offsite. We appreciated that.

The parking garage was a nightmare. We couldn’t find our parking spots and the attendants didn’t have a clue to there location. So we had to drive around and look for the number in the ground. Well the number on the ground and the number plate above the parking stop didn’t match. We had 2 spots for the unit that are not beside each other that was confusing also. The elevators at situation was very timely. We waited for 30 minutes to get an elevator to take out luggage to the room. The cleanliness of the condo could have been better. The floors where filthy, we had to keep our shoes on the entire time. I was going to mop them myself but no mop was supplied. I guess I could have called housekeeping but It was so late when we arrived I just didn’t. The condo itself was fine with all the basic needs supplied. The pool was nice and the location of the unit was good. Nice views of the ocean.

Overall Great Stay

The condo needs to ensure all lights and ceiling fans are in working order. That's the first condo I have stayed in that was not equipped with a lot of kitchenware, it had the bare minimum. Other than that, everything was as it should be. Luckily, we didn't want to cook a lot during our stay.
