Unfortunately I woke up to a cancelation email mere hours before we left. At 1:30 the property manager sent me an email saying she canceled our stay and issued a full refund. After some questioning I was told that the previous tenant flooded the upstairs by leaving the bathtub on and the unit was uninhabitable. This was just an unfortunate situation for all parties involved. It was out of her control and she did the right thing by issuing a full refund. It completely messed our trip up but it is what it is. These things happen.

The property I reserved and paid for with a view was switched 10 minutes before check in to a non view in a different building just off the road. No compensation for that. It was noisy cars at night. The unit seems a work in progress with ok cleanliness- except upstairs bathroom baseboards, some peeled paint in small areas. Amenities are convenient, area is nice and close to stores, restaurants, and walking distance to a great coffee shop.

Good place for crashing between activities

It wasn’t an ideal location for sitting on a deck, being next to the water treatment plant and above a rather trashed shoreline of the river, but it was great for sleeping! The place has new surfaces but the cleaning could have been more thorough. Lots of cobwebs in high corners. The front door leaked during a rainstorm. The beds were very comfortable. I was charged for late checkout despite indicating I would be leaving on time - the charge is still on my account.
