This Outstanding Elegant home is nestled in the beautiful mountains between Atenas and Orotina. At higher elevations, with breathtaking views, striking sunsets, and cooler temperatures, La Carolina is the place to be enjoying your well-deserved tropical vacation.

Both inside, as well as outside areas of this large enchanting home, are magnificent. A major focal point is the huge covered veranda with the exquisite solar-heated saltwater infinity pool that hovers above the abundant jungle underneath. The brand-new gas-heated jacuzzi with a waterfall adds to the leisure lifestyle that we offer to our guests.

Enjoy the combination of massive distant views and lush jungle with a wide variety of tropical birds and wildlife, all right there at your doorstep. White-faced capuchin monkeys and Howler monkeys are regular visitors to La Carolina.

The long-stretched floorplan is smartly designed to allow every room direct access to the outside covered veranda. With its exquisite grand open floor plan, the well-appointed chef’s kitchen, and the amazing outdoor deck, this spectacular home will guarantee you a fabulous vacation stay.

The huge master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity sink. This is the only room with AC. For full privacy, the 2 guest rooms are nicely located on the other side of the house. Guest room 1 and guest room 2 are both equipped with a queen-size bed. In the hallway, there is a spacious full bathroom to share. All bedrooms have direct access to the covered veranda.

You can book guest room 3 in the lower apartment on request (with 2 single beds).

Our property management team is from the Netherlands and multilingual (English-Dutch-Spanish-German), and ready to welcome you to La Carolina. They will do everything within their power to make your stay a great success.

As an additional service to our house guests, our management team offers a fee-based airport pick-up and drop-off to help you avoid the potential hassles involved in the transitions into and out of your time in Costa Rica.
It is something to particularly consider when you have night-time travel plans, but a nice comfort to have in any event. They also provide car rentals and tours to all corners of the country, including visits to several volcanoes and waterfalls, Catamaran Sailing trips, a visit to an Organic Coffee Farm, exciting outdoor activities, and tours custom-made to our guests' requests throughout Costa Rica.

Everything is set up to your ease, from grocery service to having your fridge stocked with your favorite groceries upon arrival or having a home-cooked meal ready for you on your arrival day, to a professional relaxing massage at the house. Our house managers are ready to serve.

With its central location, it is easy to visit the Pacific beaches (about 45 minutes), stroll around authentic little towns like Orotina (10 minutes) and Atenas (25 minutes), or venture out to National Parcs and other activities.
