2 Bedroom, 1 Sleeping Loft, 1 Bathroom with Spa Tub, Sleeps 6

Our new contemporary home sits of 36 acres with breathtaking views of the hills and valleys. It sits back from the road by 800’ and offers complete peace and privacy.

Watching the sun set in the evening from the back deck or viewing the night sky filled with stars is something that will stay with you for a very long time.

The open kitchen is clean and beautiful with quartz countertops and stainless appliances. It has all the necessary tools and equipment needed to make soup and a sandwich or a complete gourmet meal. The common living area lends itself to gatherings and conversations. The property also offers a gas grill and large picnic table and fire pit outback. There is a gas fireplace in the living room and a spa tub in the bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large picture window overlooking the amazing view. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the loft has two twin beds. There is wireless internet and cable TV. The nightly rate includes all taxes and cleaning fees. I supply bed linens and towels as well as paper products (paper towels and toilet paper).

Location wise, the home is 8 miles from downtown Ithaca, 7 miles from Ithaca College, and 9 miles from Cornell University. The area offers great shopping, many museums, a hands on science center, wineries, and several state parks (lake and waterfall swimming), hiking, biking, and lots of music options.

I will respond quickly to all inquiries (include full name and phone number). I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the home or the area and look forward to accommodating you and your family.

Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am (unless otherwise arranged).

Come visit and relax on the back deck, enjoy the sunsets and unwind. Be sure to bring your camera.

Beautiful House with a Beautiful View!

  • 5 of 5

This is a well-designed, well-maintained house. I stayed here with my husband and 3 boys. It had all the comforts of home plus a stunning view of the mountains. It's situated close to Robert Truman, Buttermilk Falls, and Toughanock Falls State Parks. Only consideration is you must take a sturdy ladder to the third bedroom (my kids LOVED this). There is no dishwasher but this would not prevent me from renting this house again. Otherwise, the kitchen is fully equipped and a delight to cook in!

Picture Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful house on beautiful piece of property overlooking gorgeous valley. The house was designed and constructed with top building materials and craftsmanship. We really appreciated the terrific heating and cooling system that handled the every changing weather in the area. I do wish it had an extra bathroom which was tough with two teens at time but other than that a great place to stay for my 30th Cornell Law reunion.

Amazing Property - Perfect Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

In order to drop off a friend at Cornell grad school, a group of us left the bustle of Washington, DC to enjoy a weekend in the beautiful Finger Lakes region and we were NOT disappointed!

The house was well maintained and the view was perfect for sunsets. We spent a lot of time just grilling and making s'mores in the back, but enjoyed the well stocked games (everything from lacrosse gear to board games!). Ithaca was, as always, beautiful and the house had a great mix of tourist brochures so we could easily pick wineries, hikes and restaurants.

We all highly recommend the property and are trying to make this a yearly tradition!!

Great rental!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our 3 night stay in this delightful house. Our daughters (age 18 and 25) joined us for the first night as we were in Ithaca to drop our youngest off at college. The house easily accommodated all of us together, and continued to be a wonderfully relaxing retreat for just my husband and me. The view out the back (from the great room, back deck, and windows in the master bedroom) is truly amazing! We could have sat and enjoyed this for hours on end.

House was clean, well equipped (kitchen, games, linens, etc), and quiet with very nice lighting, fixtures, and furniture - all as advertised. We could easily have cooked all of our meals here, but chose to explore the Ithaca restaurant scene. Owner responded quickly to inquiries and provided all needed information.

We were able to bike the Waterfront Trail by the lake in town (6 miles, flat, great scenery), and hiked the Gorge and Rim trails in Treman State Park to Enfield and Lucifer Falls (wow!). All activities revealed so much natural beauty and were so much fun! Delicious meals at Madeline's on the Commons, Taverna Banfi at the Statler Hotel at Cornell, Mercato, and Ithaca Bakery, topped off with several stops at Purity Ice Cream. Could easily have enjoyed many more days to further explore the area.

Renters do need a car to go anywhere, but this is a great house to come home to after a day of Ithaca adventuring. This would be an easy house for older people - all on one floor. There is a very stable and permanently-attached solid wood ladder that provides access to the loft (2 single beds up here), but could be problematic if you have an adventerous toddler.

Fully recommend this rental and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Picture perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a lovely time renting this home in August. The pictures tell the story well - well maintained, everything you may need, ready to go. It was an easy drive to waterfalls, vineyards, IC and Cornell, and more. The beautiful view off the back porch is also enjoyed from the living room and even the master bedroom. We moved the chairs under the stars for a meteor shower! We grilled on the back deck, let ours girls fly kites and climb hay bails, and we sipped Ithaca wines (they had all varieties of wine and cocktail glasses in the bar area). Lots of games/toys for the kids and they likes the loft too. My kids were younger, so I didn't let them try the loft stairs without a parent right there. But once they were up, they could close a half door and be safe a play, while my husband and I were in the living room. We would highly recommend. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!
