Historic, lovely farm home w/ wonderful pool and hot tub on 35 beautiful acres !

Escape, Relax and Enjoy...a wonderful country home located on 35 Beautiful acres on a babbling mountain stream overlooking Knob Mountain and the Shenandoah National Park.
This classic, historic farmhouse was initially built in 1863 but has been completely restored with all modern conveniences!

Relax in the hot tub or swim in the large inground pool !

Our goal is to offer a relaxed environment with those warm & caring extras that you never thought you would be able to find anywhere else but home!
(Pets are welcome with an additional fee.)

Lots to do at Gracieland Farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley:

All of the following activities are within a short drive from our farm

*Tour the Luray Caverns
*Kayaking, canoeing, rafting and tubing on the historic Shenandoah River
*Visit the Shenandoah National Park with miles and miles of hiking trails, many beautiful mountain waterfalls and with restaurants at the Skyland and Big Meadows Resorts.
*Enjoy bike riding on the quiet country road that leads to Gracieland Farm.
*Pan for gold on the mountain stream that flows through our farm
*Search for arrowheads and other ancient artifacts on the hills of our farmland
* Zipline at bear mountain zip line
*Spend some time at Lake Arrowhead—a mountain lake with swimming and picnicking
*Somedays you may just want to stay at the farm to enjoy our large inground pool and relax in the hot tub
In the evenings, plan a s’mores party around the fire pit.
Restaurants in the town of
Luray include Gathering Grounds,
The Speakeasy at the Mimslyn Inm,
our newest upscale restaurant Watch and Warrant.
Market Street Deli.
In addition there are several pizza establishments.
For an early morning treat visit Broad Porch coffee company on Main Street
And in the evenings , enjoy a movie at Page Theatre on Main Street.

What a great time.
This farm house was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay with my family. The pool was amazing and the perfect size for my family of 5. There was plenty of space to run around and explore the outdoors. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The house itself was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could ever need in it. On the other hand it wasn’t the cleanest, the bathrooms and the floors were dirty. The beds were extremely hard and there were a lot of spiders and centipedes more then expected. Inside and out. Also, don’t expect to have internet because none of our electronics work. Which is a good thing for a getaway. Yet there was a tv with all the networks, which was great.

Peaceful Summer Getaway
If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation spot - look no further. Beautiful property with stunning mountain views. Large, fenced pool area was a hit for each age group in our party, including the pets to run off leash some. House is spacious for everyone to spread out and enjoy the quiet or stay together for valuable family memories. Hosts are wonderful and respond quickly to any questions. We hated to leave and I already miss morning coffee on the front porch admiring the mountain view and the wildlife in the fields.

Family Relaxation
My husband and I took our 2 grown daughters, a son-in- law and 3 grandchildren for a much needed relaxing stay. Everything was wonderful. We were greeted by Helen and Bob who were very friendly. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable including leaving welcome baskets for us and the kids. We spent most of our time in the fabulous pool and hanging around the historic house.(Our son-in-law was in heaven with the house and out buildings). We did go to Luray Caverns and a petting zoo which were so much fun but the kids just wanted to swim. We spent evenings playing games and soaking in the hot tub. Helen was very responsive to any questions we had and respectful of our privacy. Everyone kept asking when we can come back again. This house was a big hit with us and we plan to return for more vacations.

Heaven!!!
Oh my gosh where do I begin? Miss Helen & Mr Bob are the best people to rent from! We were greeted by Helen & Bob with a show of the house and property. A basket of goodies for S'mores, popcorn, and chips. Helen was always available if anything we needed and/or questions. The house was spacious for us four adults, two children and best of all dog friendly! Nature & wild life are abundant and away from any traffic. Plan a vacation here and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Helen & Bob for giving us such great memories!

Fun Family Vacation
Spacious and inviting farmhouse surrounded by beautiful mountain backdrop. So much fun exploring the farm and splashing in the stream with the kids! Giant pool to cool off in and plenty of shaded areas. Calming and comfortable! So much to do and see, or relax and just BE!
