Don't let the name fool you, The Last Resort is a comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bath lagoon cottage with all the amenities to make your stay idyllic. Located on the north side of Little Lagoon down Ft Morgan Rd it sports pristine marine views and amazing sunsets from the large waterfront deck or the covered 200' pier. The waves of the Gulf are audible when tropical breezes are blowing, whether you are topside or relaxing below in the screened-in Tiki Bar complete with a beverage fridge. The main level has an open floor plan with great room, large kitchen with granite countertops, bar seating plus a dining room makes this the perfect family get away.

Recently updated, the home has a new refrigerator, new flooring, updated bathrooms, and a custom shower in the master bath. Our Internet service/ WiFi allows guests to log in to their personal Netflix, Hulu, Prime or personal cable provider from multiple Roku TVs located throughout the house.

For those who like to fish or just sit in the sun the 200' pier with its covered deck is perfect. Mullet, flounder, redfish, and crabs are plentiful in this natural habitat. Have a relaxing evening watching the sunset or have a drink with friends.

For the little ones the sandy beach makes a perfect entrance into Little Lagoon's shallow waters. You will not have to worry about big waves or rip currents here when the Gulf is acting up. The large yard and shade underneath the house are the perfect places for children to play.

Golfing opportunities are numerous. The Peninsula Golf Course is practically across the street and Kiva Dunes is just a short drive as is the city course and Craft Farms.

For nature lovers the Bon Secour National Wildlife Preserve is minutes away. They have several hiking trails and guided walking tours. Bird watching is a favorite pastime of visitors to the area as well. Pick up the local Mullet Wrapper or Islander newspapers for schedules of local events and activities.

The City of Gulf Shores has a fantastic recreation center with daily, weekly, or monthly rates. It features an indoor temperature controlled swimming pool, basketball courts, fitness room, indoor track, ping pong and pool tables, water aerobics, yoga and other fitness classes. They often host baseball and Tennis tournaments. In the winter the city's Special Events Department sponsors an outstanding series of performances.
The location inside the city limits means it is only a 5-minute drive into downtown Gulf Shores. Our guests love that they are out of the crowds but still close to everything!
