About the host

Host profile image
I am a lifelong Alaskan with over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry. I enjoy providing top notch accommodations to Alaska's travelers. Tourism in Alaska is a sustainable industry that supports our local economy year round, I appreciate being part of that equation. I hope you enjoy your stay and please let me know what I need to know.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. I could not pass up the opportunity to showcase the beautiful mountain setting and provide first-rate accommodations adjacent to a world class trail system. Three guest cabins, each with a private bath and full kitchen were constructed in the fall of 2021. We soft opened in the spring of 2022 and are now going full speed ahead. This property is 3.5 acres and located in a newly subdivided area north of Palmer, Alaska. For now, we have no immediate neighbors but that will change and tourism in the area continues to grow. With any luck there will be a coffee shop nearby someday.

What makes this property unique

Trail side access to the Government Peak Recreation Area. The trail behind the cabin is rough for biking but easily hikeable to the main trail system near the chalet. Vicinity maps help guide you around the trail system. Nordic ski trails are groomed after any significant snowfall and provide world class skiing usually through March. April is in between season and May is the kick off of summer. We hope to see you soon!
