Perfect long weekend
We hit traffic on the way up, but Carrie was still available for our late check-in. She was super helpful and accommodating and gave us loads of ideas for activities and directions in the area. We stayed in the largest treehouse and it was exactly as advertised in the photos. Slightly closer to the road than we anticipated, but extremely clean, cozy, plenty of bedding and extra towels, AC was welcome some parts of the weekend and it had everything we needed. We brought our dog, hiked to the summit of Sabattus mountain, just a few minutes away, played disc golf, climbed to the five story tower (must see views from the top!), spent a rainy day at the Rock and Gem museum in Bethel and spent another day on the Conway Scenic Railway. Overall, we had a wonderful trip. Be sure to get directions while you have wifi at the treehouse, we had almost no phone service anywhere in a 30 minute radius, but we managed! The ONLY thing we could have used was a small step stool, the treehouse cabinets were quite tall and we are height-challenged people! We'd definitely come back, and bring friends to fill all the treehouses.
