First class property with top class facilities
We chose the garden unit because of its beautiful outdoor area,great for a barbecue or entertaining.The two bedroom unit well appointed with every possible facility needed to live very comfortably.As for our host Ed Eng nothing was a bother.Any little problems were resolved promptly.If you are staying in Noe Valley this is a fantastic option.We will definitely return to this wonderful destination.Wayne and Anne Stone
More than we could have ever asked for
Ed was absolutely divine! We stayed in the Garden Apartment for an entire month in the winter. During that time, every question we had he almost immediately answered, and he was such a joy to chat with. The apartment itself has everything you need, plus the sun streams in so nicely every morning. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect-large and stocked with anything and everything you need to cook. My first night I had an issue working the TV, and Ed was out, so he kindly sent someone over who was on his way home from work to help me with the TV. Everything was above and beyond what we expected-one day he even surprised us with beautiful fresh flowers on our kitchen table. The cleaners visiting once a week were much appreciated as well! I would recommend his place to anyone! The only one thing I would caution against: if you are a light sleeper, don't sleep in the bedroom with the TV.
There is a bedroom (the one on the left) on the other side of headboard of the bed-and you can hear just about everything that goes on in the room...not sure if it was the same way on our end. And you can also hear people walking above you pretty frequently throughout the unit-they were normally quiet at decent hours though so we never had an issue with that.
Overall-every morning my friend and I would rise from our beds thinking, "WE ARE SO HAPPY HERE!" It was the greatest AirBnb experience I've ever had. Thank you Ed!!
Great little getaway!
Apartment was very neat, clean and comfortable. Has a great little yard. Convenient location to supermarket and short walk to great restaurants. Easy to get to downtown San Francisco. Property well maintained. Owner was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
Excellent property - neat, clean and organized.
Great little property in a very cute / trendy neighborhood. The Garden apartment is well worth the extra cost. The property manager (Ed) is a great host. The apartment is nicely furnished, impeccably clean and well-organized. The toiletries were a very nice touch. The bathroom was neat and clean and water pressure in the bathroom was just right. Located just a block or two from local transportation, this apartment gave us a nice glimpse of city living. Street parking was easy to find - even on weekends. Ed left a detailed set of instructions for everything - from how and where to park in the neighborhood to the best local spots to grab a bite or a cup of coffee. Clearly, it shows that a lot of thought went into making the guests comfortable.
Overall, a great stay. We will definitely return if staying in San Francisco again and recommend the apartment to our friends and family.
Gorgeous apartment in a lovely area
What a fabulous apartment in a great neighbourhood. As a family of five, Ed's Garden apartment was great for us to relax in and use as a base to explore the wonderful Noe Valley and greater San Francisco. It was beautifully maintained with a lovely back garden area. The area has beautifully restored typically San Francisco homes, and is walking distance to the 'J' light rail in to the city, and much to our delight, close to some wonderful cafes and restaurants. Ed is a friendly and very engaging host who did everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay I would love to return here and am just trying to come up with an excuse to do so!
Peaceful, beautiful garden apartment
My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in Ed's garden apartment. His attention to detail shows in the accurate description of the apartment on the website. Not only was the apartment clean and well-maintained, but he has put wonderful art on the walls and the furniture is comfortable. We enjoyed sitting the the peaceful garden after our days of exploring the city. Ed was very kind and gracious in welcoming us and answering our questions. We would highly recommend this apartment and will use it when we return to San Francisco. It is very easy to use public transportation from the apartment.
Activity and Interests
Noe Valley is one of the most desirable San Francisco neighborhoods. Sunny and relatively flat, it invites lively street life. Noe borders the Mission and Glen Park districts. Great bakeries, restaurants, and of course coffee shops abound. The property is close to both MUNI and BART public transportation.

- OFF-STREET PARKING: Unfortunately we have none. However, on-street parking is fairly available with the caution to heed signs which note street-sweeping days and time limitations. To repeat: the J-Church trolley line is one block away and will connect with lines to get to any part of the city easily. NEW: 40' HDTV with Netflix streaming video.
