About Beth Harris
My husband and I are both engineers. We have 2 children. It took us 2 years with some contract help to renovate the cottage. Photo of our family with our dog. We love the outdoors. We love to share the outdoors and our home with others.
Beth Harris purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Beth Harris chose Saluda
We live close by. We wanted to be able to use Lake Sheila for swimming and fishing. Lake Sheila is a private lake. Perfect for swimming. Clear water. We enjoy building and preserving peace and experiencing nature at it's best - natural!
What makes this Cottage unique
Peace, wildlife, camping feel without other tents around and all the nice amenities of a home. Lots of fish in the lake. No motor boats allowed. Perfect for swimming, floating, paddling. Clear water. Canoe and paddle boat use with lifejackets provided. No additional charge. Boats are already at Lake Sheila ready for use. Expect to see some wildlife - bear, deer, fox, bobcat, rabbits, squirrel, many birds, bats, owls, frogs, fish and turtles, snakes and spiders too!

Quiet, quiet, quiet
We throughly enjoyed our stay. Sunny days, cool nights. Last night heavy rain sounded wonderful on the tin roof. Only drove out once for church during our stay. Lots of walking around the trails and lake
So glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you for your text messages as well!
Take care!

Paradise
We stayed here for a weekend while running a Spartan Race. The cabins location is far enough away from other cabins you feel like you are alone in the woods. We visited on a cold and rainy weekend unfortunately. We were unable to use the outdoor fire pit and grill but will be returning to use them. The patio with the fire pit is large and a great place to relax along with the porch. The cabin was cozy and with the fireplace in the living room it was a great place to unwind. Has everything you need to have a great vacation. The view in the winter with the sun coming up in the morning was amazing. You can view the lake from the patio. The driveway is gravel and has some steep places but is not difficult to manage.
Thank you for your review and I hope the Spartan Race was fun! Maybe I will try this next year!! Take care!
Birthday Suprise
Came to the cabin to celebrate our sons birthday. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again Beth for a great stay!
Hi Kelly! So glad to have you stay again and I thought it might be Camden's Bday! So now a happy Belated Birthday to him!
Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Wonderful little cabin for a getaway near Saluda
Loved the cabin! Close to Saluda and some great hiking in the area. Absolutely fantastic stone patio and built-in firepit for staring at the trees and the moon and the stars and forgetting about any nonsense in life. Only thing to be sure of is to have an SUV or truck to get up the gravel driveway to reach the cabin (which we did, so no issues there). Great communication with the owner which made for a wonderful all around experience.
Fall At It’s Best
This is our 4th stay at Four Season ‘s. A quaint little hideaway in the woods, My favorite place to come and relax and enjoy nature. Beth is excellent!!! She has made us feel very welcome every time we come,
Peace
Amazing peaceful place. The cabin was perfect. The lake was pristine. Even the people in the community were polite and helpful. Can't wait to take my wife, kids, and dog back.
