Beautiful Landscapes and Wildlife Everywhere
Peaceful and relaxing! Loved watching deer, eagles, turkey, and water fowl from our cabin. Exactly what I expected and more!!! Very clean and well appointed cabin! Very convenient to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and southern Black Hills.
This was perfect for my family vacation. Very relaxing with a beautifull setting.
Great place for my family! The fishing was a lot of fun, very peaceful and secluded walks, amazing view and relatively close to all the Major attractions. We will do it again.
Great central location
We enjoyed the quiet area to come back to after a busy day of activities. The cabin was a bit smaller than we had pictured especially for our family, but the view was impressive and having the lake right there was great for our children.
The cabin was perfect for our family. The lake made it so much more special. Scenery was breathtaking
Views where amazing
SD ATV trip
Beautiful spot, good access to trails. Easy to get to, close to Hill City, without a lot of extra traffic. Everything we needed, other than our food, was included. Perfect for 2-4 people.
We are centrally located in the Black Hills just 11 miles outside of Hill City. We are close to most of the main attractions you would want to see from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, 1880 Train and many, many more. Just pick up the maps and brochures of the area at any of the tourism locations and let the fun begin. The South Dakota Dept. of Tourism has a great website so you can do some pre-planning.
There are things to do and places to see from Evans Plunge and The Mammoth Site in Hot Springs in the Southern Hills to the Historic Sate Fish Hatchery in Spearfish in the Northern Hills with Historic Deadwood and The Homestake Gold Mine in between.
Try to take in the night ceremony at Mt. Rushmore if time permits, it is truely a memorable experience. There is also the Famous Buffalo Round-Up in Custer State Park in late September that seems to be a big hit as well.
Once back at the condo, get the kids out on the paddle boat. We also have a couple of fishing poles there for your use. 'Catch and Release is greatly appreciated. A South Dakota fishing license is required. A license can be purchased online at the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks website. All fishing regulations are available there as well.
