Miss information in the listing
This listing was misrepresented in the listing. The sofa bed was listed as a blow up bed. There is a 3 inch mattress on the bed and another 2 inch in the only closet. Our first night we were in a hole in the center of the bed, and had to wrap our arms around the bottom to get out. After that we put both mattresses on the floor nightly and put it back together in the morning. There was also no toilet paper. Unacceptable. We will come back to the area, but not this cottage.
Lobster & Chilling
Incredibly relaxing stay. Away from all of the crowds, but close enough for restaurants and supplies. The cottage was exactly as described, with the only possible exception is that the bed could have been a little more comfortable (BUT my wife will definitely stay here again if available). The deck and fire pit were perfect for morning Blueberry Muffins & coffee or evening glasses of wine as the lobster boats went out or in for the day. As we woke in the mornings, they were gently filled with the subtle sound of the engines of the fish boats as they went out. Amy made sure we were completely set up for our stay, even sent a text to be sure and try the blueberry muffins at Dolphins Marina the first night. Recharged and ready to start the new school year next week.
Lovely cabin, beautiful views. Very peaceful. Hosts were very responsive and shared plenty of helpful information!
Just perfect! 🦞
Amy was the very best....readily available to answer questions and make recommendations. The studio was comfortable and fresh and well located near lobster pounds, shops and markets. Our first trip to Maine and exceeded our expectations.
Beautiful views in a beautiful little community! House was very clean and the owners were more than willing to give recommendations and help when needed.
Two of us stayed at this lovely one room cottage during our visit to Bowdoin. Although it is a very small space indeed, the kitchen and bathroom are modern and spacious and even the blow up mattress in the pull out couch was surprisingly more comfortable than expected. This place is all about the views, which are breathtaking. There is some construction work next door, but none was happening during our weekend stay, so it was very quiet. We had our morning coffee on the deck and enjoyed listening to the waves crashing at our feet.
95 Clark Shore is on the water, quiet street with only 2 other homes past ours. Plenty of parking. Kayak rentals available. Fire pit, hammock and plenty of ducks and lobster boats going by. Close to downtown Brunswick and a dog friendly beach nearby.
