Overview

Property Details

Updated: Jul 18, 2016
4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. Sleeps 8

Scarlett's is a peaceful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom farmhouse and 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with a pool and hot tub, located in the heart of the Napa Valley. Just minutes to St. Helena and Calistoga, our neighbors include Calistoga Ranch, Frank Family Vineyards, Rombauer and Duckhorn Vineyards .

We are tucked just off of the Silverado Trail into an oak grove on the edge of the vineyards. From the farmhouse and property, there are stunning views of the the vineyards and valley.

Scarlett's is a lush property with a number of lawns, decks, patios, a pool, hot tub, hammock, outdoor fireplace and dining areas, BBQ's and even a trampoline.

Scarlett's daughter, Jennifer, just finished a renovation of the original Farmhouse and Arrowhead Cottage in May, 2013. Internationally-renowned designer Myra Hoefer designed the beautiful, light-filled interiors. We have included every detail for our guests' comfort; luxury Frette linens, down comforters, newly tiled bathrooms,TV's, wifi, BBQ's, and plush, new upholstered furniture.

The Farmhouse is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage with kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, dining table, living area and french doors that open onto your own private patio and lawn.

Enjoy stunning views of the vineyards, valley and western hills from your living room, bedrooms and outdoor space. Your own lawn has a BBQ and outdoor dining table. Watch the sun set with a glass of wine or dine alfresco with your loved ones. Truly beautiful and quintessentially farmhouse!

The downstairs of the Farmhouse has the kitchen, dining table, living area with wood-burning fireplace and one queen bedroom and bathroom. This bedroom has french doors that open onto your charming patio and lawn area with vineyard and valley views. A small desk and newly upholstered, large and comfy window seat also provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views from your bedroom. The second bathroom is also on this level, next to the stairs that lead the the two upstairs bedrooms.

The upstairs of the Farmhouse is connected to the downstairs, but also has it's own private entrance and two bedrooms. This charming upstairs suite has one queen bedroom and one bedroom with two twin beds and vineyard, garden and valley views from both rooms. The beds are furnished with fluffy down comforters and luxury Frette and Anichini bedding. There is a desk area for your convenience, wifi, a hospitality armoir with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and extras that you might need during your stay. These two bedrooms share a bathroom at the foot of the stairs on the first level.

The Arrowhead Cottage is a one bedroom stand alone studio, with it's own private entrance and bathroom, and is separate, but close to the Farmhouse. It is newly renovated and appointed with new furniture, down comforters, Frette linens, large flat-screen TV, wifi, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The French doors open onto your own patio and lawn with dining table and chairs, cushioned lounge chairs and deep-seating sofa and armchairs surrounding a wood-burning outdoor fireplace that is original to the property.

The large bathroom has been newly tiled, with new fixtures and fluffy white towels.

Scarlett's has a beautiful, serene pool and hot tub, surrounded by decks, lawns, a large meadow and acres of oak studded hills. Relax under the shade of the apple tree or float in the pool and watch the pine trees sway. There is even a trampoline and ping-pong table for the young and young at heart.

The caretaker, Bob (Jennifer's father) lives in a house on the property, located near the pool. He will be happy to answer any questions you have about the Napa Valley.

There are many distinct outdoor spaces to enjoy at Scarlett's. You will never feel crowded and will always be able to find a spot to relax, dine and enjoy.

Charming Spot

  • 5 of 5

I loved this beautiful place! Quaint , well maintained quarters with beautiful & cozy feel. Close to tons of wineries and perfect location between St. Helena's and Calistoga. Vineyards everywhere. The caretaker Bob is genuine and helpful. Perfect for a family or 4 couples. Just lovely, rural setting. Great restaurants in close little towns.

Scarlett's is Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful farmhouse with a detached cottage, lovely furnishings, and wonderful views. The six of us had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We visited some spectacular wineries within easy driving distance, and enjoyed delicious meals on the property's outdoor dining area, as well as in nearby Calistoga and St. Helena. The caretaker, Bob, was very respectful of our privacy, but when we did see him, he proved to be a wonderful and charming conversationalist who offered great suggestions for local food, wine, and activities. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Wonderful Easter weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 7 absolutely LOVED Scarlett's farmhouse and cottage. The location off Silverado Trail was peaceful - no highway noise. The house had the most comfortable beds! There is ample outdoor space for gathering and enjoying nature. There is a fireplace in the courtyard and a wonderful picnic table out front. There is also a pool and hot tub which we didn't use as the weather was not conducive, however, they looked inviting! Jennifer and her father, Bob, were wonderful to work with. Bob showed us all around the property when we arrived and lives on site should the need for assistance arise. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! We can't wait to return on our next visit to the wine country!

Perfect for our girls' weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Let me start by saying that Napa was the perfect place for 9 of us ladies to celebrate turning 40! And Scarlett's Country Inn was the ideal spot for us to gather and spend quality time together. Jennifer and Bob were wonderful to deal with and were very responsive to our questions and needs. The home is lovely and charming, nestled among the vineyards and set back from the main road. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of linens were provided. Just a few things to take note of. There is only a mini fridge in the main farmhouse and another in the cottage. The full size fridge is located out back by the pool - just a minor inconvenience. The stairs in the farmhouse are very steep, so if you have elderly or infirm people in your group, they should probably plan to sleep on the main floor. The wireless connection isn't great. You can expect to be disconnected multiple times until you find the sweet spot in the house that works pefectly. On the plus side, the location is wonderful! We were within 20 minutes of all of the restaurants and wineries we wanted to visit. There are multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy. One night, we sat at the long table under the lights and enjoyed a wonderful home cooked meal. Another night, we sat around the fireplace under a sky full of stars, sipping some delicious wine. We truly enjoyed our visit and would return to Scarlett's again!

First visit to Napa

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to Napa, and we could not have asked for a more wonderful visit! Scarlett's County Inn is the perfect place from which to enjoy this beautiful region and has all the amenities necessary for a "home away from home." Right on the Silverado Trail, the location is a great starting point for whatever your day holds (winery visits, restaurants, shopping, etc.), but is also a great place to return and enjoy the hot tub, pool, outdoor fire-pit, and beautiful scenery. Thanks to Jennifer and Bob for such a memorable vacation! We hope to return soon!

Fun with friends in Napa

  • 5 of 5

We had a memorable time on main street in Calistoga, big family-style dinner with friends, walks next in to the vineyards, and wine! Our children loved the pool, hot tub, and trampoline - endless entertainment, We loved the Farmhouse and was easy to share with friends. And, the sheets are wonderful. Coffee in the morning, sitting in the sun with cozy blankets, a perfect way to start our days. We wanted to stay longer and can't wait to return!
