This enchanting lodge is located just 4 miles north of Durango Mountain Resort. Be at resort activities in minutes, while feeling away from it all in a quiet and secluded, wooded paradise. The location of the home is also convenient for trips to the mining town of Silverton, one of the beauties of the four corners. As you arrive at the property you will find beautiful mountain and pond views from the deck. A large gazebo covers the large private hot tub. The large kitchen is a cook's dream with plenty of space and updated appliances. The family can gather around the large island with bar seating or sit at the large dining table. There is a lovely sitting area with a large wood fireplace, perfect for curling up and watching the snow fall. Downstairs you will find the bonus room with 3 couches and an 80" flat panel TV. One of the couches is a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping options. There is a large laundry and utility room with washer and dryer on this floor as well. Upstairs on the top floor you will find 3 bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed with private bath and private balcony overlooking the mountains. The second bedroom features 2 queen beds. A full bath can also be found on this floor. The third bedroom is great for the kids featuring 2 queen beds plus a sleeping loft with 2 twin mattresses. This room also has a private bath. Step outside to enjoy a soak in the large, private hot tub or take in the beauty of the pond views and surrounding mountains. Starlink internet service is available in case you need to work remotely or want to stream your favorite shows and movies.

Good response to an issue

We had a minor problem with some wasps; can’t be helped, nature does what nature does. Property management responded quickly amd resolved the problem. Some comments about the property itself, it is truly beautiful. Hot tub was great for a large family, theater room was great fun. There is a pond very nearby that’s gorgeous, but don’t forget bug spray. :)

Great stay near purgatory

Stayed with a group of friends for a few days in the summer. The property is in an incredibly beautiful spot and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there as a relatively large group of 13. Management was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful mountain views and fall colors were amazing.

Very authentic log cabin! Well furnished, open and comfortable. Plenty to do for hiking and biking.

Awesome property

This property is in a stunning area and is beautifully laid out. We found the home to be very well furnished and equipped and stocked with everything we needed. It was very tidy and very welcoming. It's easy to feel at home. The deck with hot tub and fire pit is an awesome place to relax and spend time. The kitchen is well decorated and designed and easy for preparing meals. The master bedroom with loft ceiling is spacious and has a warm feeling. There is plenty of bandwidth for internet and TV viewing. The satellite has plenty of selections and there are televisions in a large number of the rooms. There is a path down to the lake through some lovely wildflowers and grasses. The path was well done with large steps. Loved this place and wish it was mine.
