Located along "Embassy Row" in the desirable and cosmopolitan neighborhood of the "District of Dupont Circle", this QUIET rear of building condo is located 6 blocks due north of The White House and within easy WALKING DISTANCE to many of the major tourist attractions, the National Mall, the trendy Adams Morgan neighborhood, 2 Metro stations (Dupont Circle and Farragut North) and an abundance of international restaurants, shops, theaters and night-life. This is a fully furnished 'junior one-bedroom' condo with a "double" sized bed (4'4"W x 6'0"L) one "king" pull-out sofa in the living room, a complete kitchen, dinning and living area, and a walk-thru closet to a full bath. Cleaning service every two weeks for long term visitors. Located at 1711 Massachusetts Ave NW 'The Boston House' is a classic Washington DC apartment building with a SECURE LOBBY and 24 HOUR FRONT DESK.

Notes:
The roof top deck with a view of the city, patio seating for dining, chaise lounges and electric BBQ grills is open March 12 thru November 05, 2017. A community room is located in the basement for larger gatherings with a kitchen, television and a large selection of books and magazines. A CVS Pharmacy, Safeway Supermarket, liquor store, and numerous local bars and restaurants are all within four blocks around the corner from the apartment on 17th St. The National Geographic Museum and the world famous 'Brookings Institute' (which offers free admission to the public to attend their guest speakers lectures on a variety of social, political and economic topics) are both just steps away and a great rainy day alternative.

Clean condo, great surroundings, convenient stores nearby, and tons of choices of restaurants.

Great experience and we walked to everywhere. Metro is just 2 blocks away. So many choices so we have a list of restaurants to try for lunch and dinner every day. Roger is very helpful and responded to all my questions within minutes. We will come back in a few years and would rate this a 5 star experience!

Great location

The apartment is very cute, well stocked, and comfortable. It was perfect for our stay. The location felt very safe which was important to me traveling alone with my son. We are a lot of meals in and the close proximity of the grocery store was very convenient. I appreciated the fact that there were paper towels and basics such as cooking spray and spices available. The little things make a big difference. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location

My husband, son, and I recently stayed at Roger's apartment in D.C. First, let me say that Roger was very kind and easy to work with. Our apartment was ready and he was very accomodating about our arrival and departure. times The apartment is in a perfect location. We were about two blocks from the metro and walked to many restaurants. We highly recommend Hank's Oyster Bar which is about a block away. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay again.

Excellent location and great Appartment

I stayed 1 month in the Appartment. It was the best decisión. It couldnt be better located. The appt has everything that you need. It is well cared and Roger is terrific. I highly recommend.

I will stay again in the appt in my next trip to Washington DC

Awesome location (some amenities lacking)

This property is in an awesome location. It is a fairly cost-effective option if you'll be staying in the DuPont Circle area for an extended period of time. I typically stay in Marriott properties so I have a high expectation of cleanliness. The bed and bathroom were clean, so that's great. The carpet and floors were not super clean, lots of dust in the corners and cracks next to walls. Overall, I agree with the amenities that were listed in previous reviews. I do wish there was a higher-quality and larger bed in the bedroom. The other amenity I thought was lacking is that the Wifi was very very slow, so it was hard to get work done when I had to use my VPN for work.

The owner has been awesome to deal with and super responsive. I thought the pictures were very fair and accurate. Also, the area is very safe and I had no concerns walking alone at night to and from various places. I would stay here again.
