* 3-minute walk (2 blocks) to Castro &24th St, the heart of Noe Valley. 24th street is popular for its upscale restaurants, tasty bakery and cafes, home-decor boutiques, and chic clothing shops. Whole foods and Walgreens are both on 24th.

* 10-minute walk to Castro/Market, the heart of Castro.

* Easy public transportation to downtown. Muni #24 bus stop is right at the door steps (Castro & 22nd St) which goes to Castro, Pacific Heights and transit to downtown.

* Walking distance to fun Mission and vibrant Castro.

* Easy access to the US 101 and 280 freeway to peninsula or wine country.

* For business travelers, Genetech, G and Apple shuttle bus stops are 3 blocks away at 24th& Castro. Please check your corporate shuttle schedule. Noe Valley is one of the main SF stops for most corporate.

* The entire flat is newly renovated with hardwood floor throughout, double pane windows, new drywall and furnace; Kitchen and bathroom are newly upgraded;

* Kitchen opens to a beautiful garden with wood deck, outdoor seating chairs and table.

* Full bathroom shower over tub, beautifully detailed tile;

* Fully-equipped kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook and eat in: gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Dishes, pots, pans, glasses are provided. The kitchen also has a cozy eating nook with a table and four chairs.

Nice, clean, great location

We stayed here with my mom and kids (8 and 12). A little tight for 5 (as is clear in the ad) but a wonderful place, so nice to have a little kitchen and the patio. Walking distance to the F train (goes downtown) or Hayes valley. It was so nice to not be in the crazy tourist zoo downtown all day long. Everything was simple and clean, no stinky air fresheners (a VRBO deal breaker for me). The views out the front door were an unexpected surprise!

Great stay

The apartment is accurately described in the ad. It was recently remodeled, clean, has a large bedroom with walk-in closet, large bathroom, new kitchen and appliances.

I didn't have an opportunity to talk with the owners as there was nothing I needed that wasn't already supplied and everything worked well.

A ten year old must have stayed there recently as the TV now works with only one remote!

Ideal for a nice, quiet getaway

My husband and I recently visited San Francisco with our 2 kids (ages 2 and 5) and had a great stay at this apartment. The photos on the listing are accurate and the place had everything we needed - kitchen, dining table, large bathroom (even toiletries were available!), ample closet space, TV w/cable, futon, and a back patio. It's in a really nice, quiet neighborhood, with a little convenient store just across the street, and your own private entrance. When we come back to SF, we will definitely be staying here again. You can't beat the price and the owners are very easy to communicate with! We felt at home immediately.

The property was clean and the location was excellent for my visit. I could not find any bath cloths when taking a shower that is my only compliant. We had a good stay.

Grace was a very accommodating host, everything was clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. It's a cute apartment, nicely decorated and equipped. Grace was very responsive when I suggested a grab bar on the shower wall--something older people (like me) might need to make it perfect. Location near markets and the cute 24th St. shopping area of Noe Valley, not walkable by me as I am hill-challenged, but probably great for anyone who can walk the hilly parts of SF.
