319 is a large studio apartment.

All of our apartments are stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials, blow dryers, irons, ironing boards, and free wifi access.

319 is a studio apartment with a queen bed, a two person table, a love seat and a nice kitchen area. It has a private bath with a tub/shower. It's similar to a large hotel room with a full kitchen. And it's a great building, a great location and very comfortable.

St. John's was, for 100 years, just an apartment building. In 2005 we decided to add short term rentals and converted eight of the apartments in to fully furnished rentals.

This apartment was converted in August of 2012 after a long term tenant moved out. It's a great little apartment. It's on the Harvard Avenue side of the building, so it gets less noise from the street.

The kitchen is small but well stocked. It has a gas range with oven and also a Sharpe microwave oven that has convection. There's also all the small appliances you might need like a toaster and blender, and all the dishes and cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc. It's easy to stay there and cook and not have to pay expensive restaurant bills for every meal. And there's a great grocery store across the street, so nothing could be more convenient.

Although you can save money and eat in the apartment we are surrounded by many great restaurants and it's hard not to want to go out and enjoy them. Our neighborhood is very busy and popular and there is lots to do right where we are. And it's a short walk to the middle of downtown Seattle where all the big stores will demand your attention. Everybody talks about location in their ads. St. John's actually has a great one.

There is a large back deck with barbecue and picnic table and you're welcome to enjoy that while you stay with us. It faces south so it's a nice place to hang out on a summer afternoon; warm and private.

We have a large website with lots of photos of the building and the neighborhood. It has a link to our on-line reservation system, so it's easy to just go there and make a reservation for the apartment if it's available. In the summer we are always fully booked and usually far in advance, so we advise trying to make your decisions as early as you can if you want to stay with us. St. John's Apartments is as advertised - great location, layout, amenities. It is our home away from home for six weeks! The best part is the customer service and an on-site manager which gives a great sense of comfort and convenience. I would recommend this property.

The St. John's is a great lodging value.

St, John's apartments are in an older building that has a lot of charm. The property is meticulously maintained, clean and comfortable. Both Christine and the live-in manager, Johnny were a pleasure to work with. Johnny even got out of bed on a Saturday morning to allow me an early check-in at 9:30 am. You don't get that kind of service many places. The kitchen was well equipped with about anything you would need. So was the bathroom, with nice thick towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The Capitol Hill area is a great location with many good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The walk to downtown is not bad either, but the bus stops are very convenient, too. The grocery store across the street is top notch. I would definitely recommend St, John's as an alternative to the pricier hotels.
