About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, sleeps 8

Eagles Ridge Lodge is a luxury log cabin conveniently located only 2 miles from the charming town of Dillsboro, NC and the Tuckaseegee River and only 5 miles from downtown Sylva. It’s central location and easy access to highway 441 also makes it convenient to the surrounding towns of Franklin, Cherokee, Bryson City, Waynesville, and Western Carolina University.

Tucked away in a private knoll on a beautiful mountain side, this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home is perfect for a large family or group seeking fun and relaxation in the Smoky mountains.

Offering gorgeous, long-range mountain views, you’ll want to enjoy your morning cup of coffee relaxing outside on the large wrap-around deck or covered front porch. From there, you can take in the morning sun as it rises over the mountains and replaces the fog that blankets the peaks and valleys in the distance. At night, the views are equally as beautiful as the lights from the charming town of Dillsboro in the valley below fill the night sky.

When you open the front door, the great room welcomes you with its rustic, dry stack stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The adjacent kitchen is large, fully stocked and upscale with beautiful granite countertops, spacious rock accented cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and ceramic tile floors. The open dining area comfortably seats seven. This 3 story cabin has a bedroom on each level which gives added privacy. The main level bedroom has a rustic log king sized bed, large cedar-lined closet, and sliding glass doors that open to the large wrap around deck where a huge 7 person hot tub awaits you. Also on the main level is a full bathroom and separate laundry room.

Upstairs is another spacious bedroom with a king sized bed, walk-in cedar lined closet and doors that open to your private deck overlooking those gorgeous mountain peaks. Next to the bedroom is another full bath. In the loft area is the game room. With a fooseball table, air hockey table, and magnetic dart board there’s plenty to keep the kids (and grown-ups) occupied for hours on end.

Downstairs is a 3rd bedroom with a queen-sized log bed and an on-suite full bath. All the bedrooms have 32 inch flat screen televisions with satellite programming. In addition, there is a 50 inch flat screen HDTV in the great room and wireless internet access throughout the cabin.

This luxury log cabin has it all at a very competitive price! Inquire today for for info and availability.

A great time by all of us.

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of 4 retired adults, 3 female and 1 male. My wife and I enjoyed the unique towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, Warren & Bryson City. Our friends enjoyed the casino. We did a little fishing, had a couple of enjoyable fires, and enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck in the morning & evening. All were very happy with the beds and the other facilities. We used the very well appointed kitchen to cook a wonderful trout dinner. Our first trip up to the cabin was a little concerning due to the steep & winding road, but after that we managed fine. Kimberly was great in answering any of our concerns.

Just what we were looking for!

  • 5 of 5

Great house; secluded, yet convenient location, minutes to downtown Dillsboro and Sylva. The house was very clean, has a modern kitchen and was thoughtfully prepared for our visit. The bedrooms, one on each level and each with its own bath and outdoor access, offer great privacy if you are with a larger group (we had three couples and it was perfect). It had all the amenities one could ask for. My wireless connectivity was unexpectedly good, which was important as a hurricane approached my home state of Florida during our visit and I needed to stay connected to work. Great communication from Kimberly, the owner, before, during and after our stay to ensure we were happy. We will be back!!

Beautiful comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

Loved the location and the cabin. The views of the mountains were obscured by the trees but the solitude and privacy was good for our relaxation. I made this reservation last minute and the owners still managed to make sure we were welcomed with a clean cabin and a special

Smore treat we made over the fire pit.

Beautiful cabin that is centrally located to many activities

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this cabin was fabulous! I don't know where to begin! Our family included my husband, twin 10 year old boys, our dog, and myself. This cabin was more than ample-sized for our family (we never used the bottom floor bedroom). The boys LOVED the upstairs room (LARGE bed) and adjacent game room. We all loved the jacuzzi and used it every night after spending our days doing outdoor activities. The fans were a particular favorite for one of our sons, who has autism. The washer and dryer are huge as well as all of the beds, the latter of which are super comfortable. As far as the driveway, Kim is gracious in describing the challenge in coming up it, but we had no problem making the turn and we were trailering my husband's motorcycle . My suggestion would be to get out of your car/truck and take a look before making the turn. It really wasn't that bad and certainly not daunting after doing it once.

More importantly, this cabin is in a GREAT location, particularly if you want to be away from the touristy spots, but still want access to them. We went to the Great Smoky Mountain NP and Dollywood on the north side of the park. But truly, we spent most of our time doing things on the south side including Blue Ridge Parkway, Bryson City, Highlands, Fontana Lake (I HIGHLY recommend that rent a pontoon boat). My husband rode his motorcycle on all of the famous roads for bikers--he left early on those mornings and didn't have any problems and very little traffic. The boys and I took a day trip to Congaree NP, (in SC) which was about 3 hours away and had lunch in Columbia, SC. Asheville is only an hour away. We were grateful to be on south side of the park because it gave us easier access to many things that we wanted to do (otherwise, you basically have to drive through the GSM and Cherokee every time you want to do anything on the south side, with a LOT of traffic). Dillsboro and Sylva are very nice towns. The entire area is VERY pet friendly, which is in stark contrast to most of the other NPs and surrounding areas that we have visited over the past 3 years. Our dog was SO happy to be on this trip and was able to participate in 90% of the activities that we did. I'm a runner who is training for a marathon and I was able to found good roads, albeit hilly (lol) to run on. Needless to say, I feel stronger after running in the area for a week.

Thank you Kim! We would LOVE to come back and your cabin made all of the difference in the world to us!

Great cozy house

  • 5 of 5

When booking this vacation, we didn't realize just how conveniently located this house was. Every attraction we wanted to visit was never more than a 25-40min drive. The house was very cozy and within moments, we felt right at home. The owner's description of the house is very accurate. Our group of 4 adults, highly recommend staying here.
