Could be better
We chose The Bungalow property because it is a three-bedroom two bath property. The Bungalow allowed us to host our Lincolnton family and not worry about the children’s bedtime. We expressly use Vrbo to keep revenue in the local economy. The plug-in air fresheners are obnoxious, overbearing, and hint of masking of another obnoxious odor. The plug-in scent is noticeable outside the property entrance. Had we not had two small children who just finished an eight-hour journey, we would have cancelled the stay. A previous review noted that the plug-ins were too much, but that is an understatement. Bathrooms were not properly stocked with toilet paper. Small bits of paper and hair were in the hall bathroom tub. Only one closet had clothes hangers, two to be exact. The other closets did not have any clothes hangers. Two closets didn’t have suitable shelving or closet rod. Personal items and clothing are in the common closets. Cleaning chemicals and fire-starting agents are freely available to children. There are no first aid kits and no fire extinguisher. The refrigerator contained numerous food items past their expiration date. The bedroom floors are noisy, like “wakeup the children” noisy. The bedding size description is incorrect, there is one queen, one full, and two twins. Finally, there is significant presence of rodent excrement in the kitchen spice cabinet, the base cabinets and pantry clos

Comfortable
This house has a welcoming feel to it when you enter. There is adequate and comfortable seating. The beds are comfortable which is a big plus. We did a lot of cooking and even entertained my sisters who live in NC. There could be a bit more thought to organizing the kitchen cupboards and what is needed in a typical stay. But paper plates and plastic silverware to the rescue. We felt safe in this neighborhood. The neighbor's dogs barking reminded us to lock the back doors. All in all is was a very good experience.

Perfect peaceful stay!
The house was very spacious and the yard was awesome! We were able to have our family stop by and see us and our nephews loved eating their lunch out on the deck with us. The house was very clean and well furnished, the only thing I would comment on is that the kitchen could definitely use a little bit of touching up and could be a little bit better stocked in terms of cooking items. Nothing crazy though, we were able to make it work and feel comfortable! There are a lot of plugins in the house so if you have asthma or allergies, I recommend unplugging some of them during your stay. We had to do this because I was having a little bit of trouble breathing in the house. It smelled wonderful and was very clean, but it was a little overpowering for me, personally. The next door neighbor does have two Golden retrievers that barked often and were on an electric fence so they could run right up to the property line in the front yard. They did spook us when we arrived home one night because we didn't realize they were on the electric fence and they came running straight for us. Seemed friendly enough though and were not obnoxious with their barking, just the normal dog behavior of alerting their owners to new arrivals. Overall, a great stay and we recommended the property to our family and would likely stay here again next time we're in town!

Cozy Home
Pamela’s home was clean and very cozy. You felt like you were staying at a family member’s home! The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and very centrally located to major shopping, restaurants, and other shops. Our daughter was married in Lincolnton and we were centrally located to Hickory and Charlotte. Very comfortable home and owner was very responsive! Would rent again if in the area.
