A lovely get away
Really appreciated meeting Len on check in, and having him get us set up. The next day we used the Kayaks and spent 2 + hours including sunset on the Pond. A very well appointed "cottage" and experience. We are letting our friends know about this gem.
Perfect in every way!!!
We can not express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners, Len and Pam, were in touch with us before our stay and Len met us upon arrival. The property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well-appointed with everything you could need and just as cozy as could be. I think the bed was even more comfortable than my own...and I really like my bed. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Maine. It is close enough to visit all of the main attractions, i.e., Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, etc. yet secluded if you just want a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. We will definitely rent here again in the future!
We thank you for the wonderful review! I enjoyed having you stay at our cottage and was glad to share it with great guests like you and Luthor.
The cabin was so cute & had everything we needed. Wasn’t far from all the places we wanted to visit. Bar Harbor, whale watching your, Acadia National Park. Wish we were staying longer and had more time to enjoy the area. Only downfall is the hairdryer was broke.
Thanks for letting me know about the hairdryer. I usually check that out as it is a necessary appliance! Thanks for the great review. Thank you for being a great steward of our property. Pam and Len Haseltine
Perfect Maine Vacation!
Wonderful time on Toddy Pond! Great location with so much to do. The apartment was well equipped as well as the extras (firewood for the campfire, kayaks, washer/dryer). Len met us to
welcome us to Maine and show us around!
It was a wonderful week! Bring your hammock!!!!!
We really enjoyed our time at the Condo on the Cove. Len and Pam met us on arrival to show us around. They were very helpful with giving us information about the area and tips for things to do. The condo is perfect for two people and has everything you will need. The location is great, about 45 minutes away from Acadia National Park and Deer Isle. We would definitely recommend this condo. Len and Pam even checked with us after we checked out to make sure we had a good time. If we come back to the area we will look to rent again. Thanks again Len and Pam!
Lovely quiet location, very clean cozy efficiency. Pam and Len have done a great job supplying everything you need. Would definitely recommend!!
Must see is the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory in Bucksport associated with the historical Fort Knox State Park. For those interested in hiking, there is nearby Great Pond Mountain Wildlife Area Area. The area is also very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. The nearby Big ChickenBarn is a mecca for antiques. Bucksport and Ellsworth , both nearby, have many fine restaurants. Maine is known for its seafood and there are many outdoor areas where lobsters are boiled in wood fired pots.
