About this property

Peace and Quiet in the East Texas woods just minutes form Edom and Ben Wheeler. This hand crafted, lofted 1 bedroom cottage was hand built by the owners and is located 1/10 of a mile off the road and is ideal for those wanting to relax and read a book, watch wildlife or just relax after a day trip.

Included is all linens, towels, dishes, cookery, some spices, a stocked pantry and stove and microwave. Also has a gas grill. Don't forget to peak in the freezer for Blue Bell.

Provided for breakfast at your leisure is coffee, milk, fruit, farm fresh eggs, and cereal.

We do have a 2 night minimum stay requirement.

Loved it!

Beautiful cabin and quiet! Lots of windows to enjoy the trees. The hosts even had Off for the mosquitos. Would have loved to stay longer and experience watching rain in the trees from the cabin.

Short getaway

Perfect location to enjoy a relaxing couple of days after powering through Christmas. Cabin has all the amenities and is well stocked with eggs and coffee. Highly recommended for a couples getaway!

Perfect Little Getaway

Serene. Clean. Cozy. Cute. Its just down the road from the coolest little art town and not to far from Tyler and Canton. I spent a couple of nights to rest and recharge before my birthday and it was amazing. Sit out on one of the porches, take a walk through the trees. Read a book on the couch, journal at the desk. Its perfect to hear yourself think ... and truly listen to what you're saying 😉 10/10 I will be back!
