Thank you for considering us for your stay in Seattle. Our townhome is located on a quiet residential street in the lovely Ballard neighborhood. This spacious unit has a comfortable, open layout.

It comes equipped with all you need for a great stay. Downtown Ballard, the locks and Golden Gardens are a short walk away with many cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There is a supermarket just one block from the front door.

We want your stay in Seattle to be extraordinary. We are a family run real estate brokerage (headquartered in Ballard) offering our own properties as high quality short term rental properties in the Puget Sound area. Our vision is to provide an exceptional level of service.

Hi, we're John and Liz! A little about us: we met in the south of France where we lived for several years before relocating to Seattle in 2000. John is Irish and speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese. Liz grew up on Bainbridge, a beautiful island in the Puget Sound. Our interests are varied: we're musicians, motorcyclists, fishers, hikers, skiiers, bikers, climbers, kayakers, entrepreneurs, sustainable farmers, gourmet foodie locavores, dog whisperer wannabees, wilderness lovers. We practice meditation and yoga and do our best to parent our wonderful four year old.

Excellent house, perfect location

Our team stayed at this house for three weeks. The owner was attentive and gracious. The entire interior had just been repainted and everything was spotless. Beds are comfortable and seem high quality. There is only parking for one car and we had to park our other car on the street. It is really close to downtown Ballard which is great in the evenings for walking to restaurants.

It accommodated 7 of us well with 3 bedrooms and e baths.

We enjoyed being able to cook some of our meals together. Coffee shop and grocery store within walking distance. Waterfront and beach area just down the street. Parking was interesting but realized quickly that was just Seattle.

Owner's Response: To clarify for readers that haven't stayed with us before; there is private parking for one car in the driveway outside the garage door of the townhouse. Other cars need to be parked on the street. Street parking is free for up to seventy two hours but can be hard to park right outside the unit. In our experience, the farthest anyone has to go to park has been one block.

Big Space, Great location

House was very clean and has enough space for 2 three person families (1 family per 2 bed bedroom), and one couple (room with one queen bed) in my opinion. 8 would be a max for a comfortable stay. The beds are soft, so if you're a bit on the heavier side, you might wake up with a sore back/hips as you sink in a bit. Same goes for the couches in the living/TV room. Though this wasn't a problem for our family. Kitchen is stocked with enough to get you started. (i.e.) oil, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, sauces, and any other random things people left behind that can be reused. Anything more, there is a QFC 1 minute walking distance from the house. If you're staying for more than 2 nights, its worth stocking the kitchen unless you're eating out every night. For the price listed, I have zero complaints. It was like staying at my house but not my house. So comfortable. If I had to give any feedback, maybe get a better cable package? But even then, there is a DVD player with a limited library, so maybe come prepared with your favourite DVD's to cozy up to at night. Or also, in the upstairs bathtub/shower, there is a dip in the tub that slighltly sinks in when you step into it. It's nothing really, just something I noticed. Otherwise, its still super clean, great shower pressure and hot water for baths and showers.

Walking distance to Ballard town is very close by and the neighbourhood is full of things to see and shop and eat. Location is a plus on this one. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone else visiting.

Great stay in the heart of Ballard

The house was quite comfortable for our family of 5, plus my parents. The location is unbeatable - 5 minute walk to the grocery store (and candy/ice cream store!), a few minutes longer to the Ballard Locks. Great restaurants all over the place. The Ballard Seafood festival was happening just down the street, with lots of great food to survey.

Parking can be a little tricky - the place has a spot for one car, but if you have a second car you might need to be patient to hunt down a street spot.

Great location, reasonable rates, very clean!

Stayed over the weekend with my wife, daughter, son-in law and their one year old. Townhouse was clean and well supplied. Neighborhood was quiet and very close to downtown Ballard. Will be staying there again whenever we go to visit. Highly recommend.

Cozy condo for family gathering in Ballard

My family and I rented this 3-bedroom condo over the Christmas holiday. There were 8 of us, five adults and 3 children ranging 13-2.5 years old. We liked the quiet and convenient location of the condo in Ballard, which allowed us to walk to the grocery store, cafes, shops, the library and the locks. It was also easy enough to travel to downtown Seattle, the zoo and other neighborhoods. John, the owner, is friendly and helpful. He allowed us to put up a tree and few decorations to make the condo festive for the Christmas holiday. The condo had ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our group, and the condo came with basic amenities. However, it might not have been the best fit for us because we celebrated Christmas there and found that the kitchen was not that well equipped for cooking lots of meals, and it was not possible for all of us to sit down to a meal together. The table was not big enough nor were there eight chairs. While other reviewers found the condo to be very clean, we were disappointed by the cleanliness of the condo overall; for example some of the towels were stained and musty, and the downstairs carpet was very soiled. The condo has lots of stairs that are quite slippery. While the owner provides baby gates (greatly appreciated), I still wouldn't recommend the condo for families with toddlers on the move. The place is perfect for grown-up families and adult get-aways.
