Centrally located in Wallingford, this home is 2 blocks from the main drag in Wallingford with a range of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and eclectic shopping. Famous Gas Works Park, Lake Union (seaplanes and paddle boats), Woodland Park Zoo, Meridian Playground, Burke Gilman Trail (run, bike, blade), Fremont (The Troll and Center of the Universe) are all an easy walk.
Green lake is 6 blocks (jog the 3 mile loop or paddle in the lake). 2 miles to Husky Stadium at University of Washington. The following neighborhoods are closer than 15-20 minutes - Ballard, Fremont, Greenlake, Belltown, Pike's Place Market, Pioneer Square, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill and Montlake. 2 minutes to 99. 5 minutes to I5. Easy access to buses and public transportation.

We own several 3br modern homes in the area that are very similar. We sometimes keep the calendar open so long as we have availability at one of those homes (all listed here).

Modern enthusiast and all around adventurer. originally from Baltimore, but took the advice to move out west and haven't looked back. I split my time between SF and Seattle.
Seth G had the house in perfect working condition. Professional host - all lights were labeled clearly, wireless codes. Had netflix for guests usage. House was clean. Great part of Seattle, parking space was critical. nothing but good things to say.
Comfortable - great location, amazing house
We stayed at seattle on a recent trip to Seattle with our family. We were very pleased at the quality and size of the accommodations . The location is great . The kitchen are fully equipped . II would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Great location; amazing house
My family and stayed in this wonderful house over July 4 weekend. We loved it and would recommend it enthusiastically and without reservation. It was well-appointed and clean, with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The location could not be beat: we fell in love with the Wallingford neighborhood, which has everything you could want, from restaurants, bars, cafes, a supermarket and Molly Moon Ice Cream (one short block away, which perhaps is too close to be a good thing, but man is that good ice cream). To counteract ice cream overload, I found that the nearby Emerald City Athletics will sell day- and week passes to use their very nice facility (located on Stone and 40th -- a short drive away). Green Lake for hiking/running is just to the north and the hip neighborhood of Fremont is also very close (don't miss the troll under the bridge).
All of the traditional downtown tourist sites are a 15 minute drive away, and we appreciated being in a "real" neighborhood and making the effort to go to the Space Needle, museums, markets, etc. Had we stayed downtown, we would have missed out on the community feel and felt more like tourists. We were there during a crazy heat wave and the house stayed surprisingly cool (thanks in part to the fans).
Seth was a warm and welcoming host. We had no problems to report to him, but I expect if there were any he would have been responsive since he was so responsive to informational questions we posed.
In short, if you have a chance to stay here, do it. We look forward to returning.
Seattle, Wallingford Area
This unit is right in the heart of Wallingford. Very comfortable. We were a long term rental while we waited on our house to close in Seattle. Close to the city.
The management was Excellent to work with. Seth made sure the place was ready when we arrived, and we never had any problems while there. The unit is fairly new.
I would highly recommend this unit as it has everything in it you need.
Comfortable - Everything You Need - Great Location
We needed to temporarily relocate to Seattle for a period of 4 months between the end of October 2013 through early March 2014 and stayed at this property. What a great place to be! We found Seth's home to be comfortable, inviting, in a great location and with everything one would need.
When we first inquired about this property we caught Seth while he was away on travels out of the country, in a fairly remote part of the world. I was amazed at how prompt, responsive and polite Seth was all while he was out of the country. The home was exactly as he describes and Seth has put together and maintains a comfortable home that is very easy to live in. The property is well appointed for either a short or extended stay.
A grocery store is one block away, the main street through Wallingford with restaurants and shops is also a block away, there is a gas station near, access to the I-5 is relatively easy and you can be downtown quickly using either I-5 (depending on traffic) or Aurora (99) which is also very close. South Lake Union is super easy to get to by going across the University Bridge and down Eastlake Blvd.. Green Lake, Gas Works Park, the Burke-Gilman trail, Fremont and the Fremont Troll are all near. So, if you want to experience Seattle as a local, this is a great place to do so. If you have a vehicle, you have easy access to anything Seattle has to offer. Even without a vehicle all that you need is within walking distance and public transportation is easily accessible for attractions farther away. While Seattle is an incredible “foodie” city, one of the better meals we had while there was at a restaurant only a block away called Tilth. The food served here was fantastic and it is all locally sourced and organic. Try it!
There are four homes on this particular property, a duplex up front and a duplex in back and one wall is shared with a neighbor. However, all the neighbors were fantastic and we quickly became friends. The only slightly odd thing about the property is that the upstairs guest bedroom shares a bathroom with the master bedroom. We did not find this to be a problem at all as the downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom and there is another guest bathroom on the main floor.
Seth was a pleasure to work with and is very prompt and responsive to your needs. I am confident you will enjoy interacting with him.
We were very pleased with our stay at this home and would easily stay here again without hesitation!
