Clean, Comfortable and Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Julia's Charming Apt. We love the location with its proximity to downtown and the delightful neighborhood of Capitol Hill. The unit has everything travelers need for a short or long stay. We felt safe, secure and well taken care of. The apartment is private, parking is easy, and the neighborhood walkable to local shops & excellent restaurants (Luc is our favorite). We will return again and again.

I visited for a week in late September. I rented a car with GPS, which I highly recommend over just your phone map app. I never used mass transit, but buses are everywhere, and bus route literature is in the apartment along with travel guides and brochures. The apartment is about 30 minutes from the airport going against morning commute. Downtown attractions like the ferry system, aquarium, space needle, emp, etc. are about 15 minutes away. It is very expensive to park near major attractions, but not hard to find a space. Free parking was never a problem around the apartment overnight. It is very quiet and feels safe in the neighborhood, I travelled alone. The grocery store is close by, I cooked most days there.

Cable, comfy bed, lots of windows, enough hot water, good heating, and full kitchen gear, what's not to love? The grounds themselves are lovely, a beautiful garden that is adjacent to a drop-off/culvert. No neighbors behind you, just trees. Really, I cannot recommend more highly. Beautiful stay.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time visiting Seattle. We met Julia who was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The Apt was very clean, and had everything we needed. We didn't make use of the garden, since we packed our trip full of activities and didn't have time, but it looked beautiful. It was easy to walk to nearby restaurants. We would highly recommend this apt.

Very quaint cottage style apartment and beautiful neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Julia makes sure the place is very comfortable. We loved her sweet dog as well. Easy parking and a few blocks from some great restaurants. Walking through the neighborhood was a treat...so lush and so many different home designs. The apartment is quite comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my husband and I...but we still slept fine. Everything I needed in the kitchen.

Simply Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were attending my nieces wedding, a fabulous one and appreciated our little home away from home. It was quite, clean, convenient and the garden for coffee in the morning was a little sanctuary. I will mention one of our favorite evenings in Seattle was dinner at The Harvest Vine, right down on East Madison. Every bite was worth every penny, amazing food. Our stay was short but if and when we return to Seattle I would enjoy the opportunity to stay here again.

Exquisite place!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at many VRBO-type places over the years but this particular rental is the best. My husband and I were here for a 5 day visit with our daughter and her husband. Julia's place was only minutes away from our daughter and that plus her great reviews and rates were the first reasons I chose her place. When we got here I found a thousand and one other things to love. Here are some of those - Morning sunrises with the great coffee Julia provides, her quiet and cute dog-Bhodi, her calming and gorgeous garden(s), the general quietness of the entire neighborhood, lots of on-street parking, a clean and well-maintained apartment, the comfy couch, the handy washer and dryer in the unit. Did I mention the location?-Close to buses, a near-by Safeway and lots of great eating and bars, a short walk/bus ride to the aboretum and shops. We loved our stay here! Thank you, Julia.
