Zen modern-style 2+ bedroom (the plus is separate tv/media room) / 2 bathroom 1800 sq ft single family home located in the Taquitz Creek Golf Club area of Palm Springs – (another area know as a “wind free” zone and a great walking neighborhood). Round pebble-tech salt water pool and elevated built-in waterfall spa and outdoor shower on 1/4-acre completely walled and private lot. Three sets of sliders open to a large sunning patio with lounge chairs and Designs Within Reach outdoor dining set. A king bed (in the huge master suite) and queen bed in the guest room are located on either end of the house for privacy.

Amenities include: level in and out open floorplan, complete remodel, mountain views, high-end modern furniture, original artwork, stainless steel kitchen, HDTVs, wireless internet, home phone with US and Canada calling plan, ceramic mosaic tiled bathrooms, terrazzo countertops, extensive landscaping (including lawn and citrus trees), indoor and outdoor gas fireplace and fire pit, outdoor shower, NG weber grill, two car garage, walk to miles and miles of hiking trails (and Trader Joes!), 2 bicycles.

About Peter

Sean and I both grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been coming down to Palm Springs for the past 15 years. What brought us to the desert is the nearly guaranteed sunshine, modern architecture, relative peace from the bustle of a large urban center, and the great hiking trails and mountain vistas. We have seen Palm Springs evolve with a new 'hipper' scene including restaurants, cultural events (film festivals, art exhibits, etc.), and a variety of healthy lifestyle options, while still maintaining it's small town charm. At 'Zen House II' we try to capture all of the above with simple, stylish, artful design.

Out of all the places we have stayed at in Palm Springs and the surrounding area this by far is the best home for 2 couples we have ever rented. The house is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay and tastefully decorated inside and out. There is a binder with all kinds of suggestions for things to do and places to go which we found very useful. The outdoor spaces are by far the best thing about the home and lets face it is the main reason we all head to the area is to enjoy the great weather and be outside. The pictures really don't do the property justice. I would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking and will definitely be back.

One last thing a definite must for dining out is The Tropicale restaurant and bar amazing food and atmosphere.

5 Palm Spring rental EVER

My husband & I just returned from a week at this marvelous getaway and we were so sad to leave! We've stayed in 6 rental properties in the PS area over the last 2 years and this was by far the best!! Any questions we had before/during/after were quickly addressed by the owners Pete & Sean, who were so great to work with...and the house! Oh the house...and the husband kept remarking about how the outdoor furniture was the best he'd ever seen. This one is a keeper on our list!

Great Golf Getaway

Just a couple of golfers visiting palm springs for the first time - the house is perfect for a few golf buddies to get away - the house layout allows for privacy while still providing awesome access to most golf locations, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Pete and Sean were responsive and always available to answer questions - they even provided great advice on picking places to play and even left a few discount coupons for us. The property is very private and relaxing - we are going to make it an annual trip - looking forward to going back. you can't beat the location - easy access to everything - including the airport. absolutely perfect!

This home is awesome. The layout is great, decor is nice and comfortable. Great location, very close to grocery store, Target etc. Nice and quiet street. Definitely one of our favorite homes we have rented. Pete and Sean were great to work with. Highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely

This hidden gem is private and absolutely beautiful. The home is decorated in modern décor with high quality furnishings. The back yard allows for privacy and is beautifully maintained. The pool is perfect size and we enjoyed sunning in the water loungers. The owners were amazing to work with. Sean and Pete are committed in making sure that your stay is enjoyable. We were approved to take our pooch and the home is fully fenced to avoid a breakout. My husband and I will use this as our home base whenever we visit Palm Springs. We HIGHLY recommend it.

We loved everything about this property! Besides the beautifully decorated and luxurious interior, the outdoor space was amazing! We spent the days lounging in the very private pool and spa area, and the evenings grilling and relaxing by the fire pit, all surrounded by superb landscaping. The house was stocked with all the amenities we needed and more. The location was very convenient, just a quick walk to the store, close to shopping and hiking, and great views. We will definitely be returning!
