Why J.D. chose San Diego

I bought in this location because I love downtown San Diego. This home was selected because it is one of the few single family homes downtown. That meant I could paint it bright green and rent it weekly without the worry of a home owner's association. The interesting style of these homes won numerous awards for the builder. It features tilt up concrete construction. I also liked the fact that the garage is attached and I do not have to go through a public elevator to get into the unit.

What makes this house unique

Attached garage single family home not a condo, there is no home association to worry about. Every condo association in downtown prohibits vacation rentals of less 30 days, people do it anyway but my tenants do not have that worry.

We had a great guys weekend at this place. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. Nice tv and sound system for watching your favorite game. Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great place, close to convention center

Was a great place. Beautiful, modern decor. Very clean. Could watch fireworks from the baseball stadium from the balcony. Easy walk to convention center. Lots of restaurants close by. Easy drive to zoo.

Gorgeous place inside and very comfortable. Felt like I was in a modern/fashionable catalogue!

The place is lovely and easy to get to any place in town. J.D. Was a wonderful host! Helped us with some early arrival accommodations and helped me determine the place would work for my 82 year old mom and 74 year old auntie. They loved it and loved San Diego. There are lots of homeless in SD, but candidly I was never panhandled or harassed. This townhome is fabulous! Highly, highly recommend. We were to grateful to all the help JD gave us. Cheers!

Loved the space!

The place is wonderful, beautiful decorations, comfortable beds and location is close to everything! I would however suggest adding another lock to the door on the street. Two nights we had someone try to enter the house. The door is loose so it's jarring to hear that rattle in the middle of the night. The amenities are slime compared to other properties-i.e. they only supplied coffee in the kitchen and some spices. Overall this place was a delight!!

Owner's Response: I am glad you thought the place was a delight. To address your concerns. There is both the main digital lock and a deadbolt lock on the front door. I am unclear what benefit adding a third lock would provide. I did check the front door and it does not appear to be loose in anyway. I would have been happy to address this concern during your stay had you brought it to my attention. I am disappointed you felt the amenities are slim. Most of the tenants have felt the opposite. I supply toilet paper, paper towels, make-up wipes, shampoo, soap(bath and hand), conditioner, salt/pepper, sponges, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dish soap(for hand-washing dishes), laundry detergent, bleach, fabric softener, coffee, creamer, sugar, and filters. In addition the home is always well-stocked with towels and linens. Thank you again for the renting the home and taking the time to write a review.

Incredible property, location, and owner. Everything was as advertised and more. Owner was very responsive. Lots of amenities provided make it easy to move in quickly and enjoy the area. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in downtown San Diego. Home is clean and well stocked with everything you need. Owner (JD) receptive and responsive. Walking distance to Petco Park, Gaslamp and most everything. Highly recommended!
