Napa Valley is a world renown travel destination. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for 'just a weekend away' with family and friends from the city.

About the Owner
We stayed at the villa while working Heritage Fire in St. Helena. The property is situated on a peaceful hill with stunning views and sunsets. The house was very clean and cozy. Lots of room, inside and out, to spread out and relax. The house has a great kitchen with a large sink and tons of counter space -- made cooking dinner and breakfast a snap. The large and comfortable couches were only outdone by the amazing beds (fluffy spa robes were also a nice touch). After working hard all day, nothing was more welcome than to wrap up our trip with the hot tub feature on the back deck. Pretty great experience, would definitely return. Thanks, Meike!
Charming retreat on the hill
My parents, fiance and I were in town for a summer wedding in Calistoga. The Villa was the perfect set-up for two couples. The house was tidy, the views were spectacular and it was a quick drive into town for the different events. While there isn't A/C, the fans helped a ton during the day and early evening. My one recommendation would be to add a fan in the kitchen. I look forward to returning!
Very Comfortable Home in Beautiful Location
We stayed at the villa for a wedding in Calistoga. The house was perfect for two couples. The kitchen is very large and the view from the sink is wonderful. We only made breakfast but the kitchen is well stoked and you would have no trouble cooking more. The living room is very comfy with a large couch and cozy love seat. After dancing the night away at the wedding, we found the hot tub to be a very nice way to unwind. The back deck has stunning views and it's calming to fall asleep to bull frogs. The location is perfect and you are a short drive from everything the area has to offer. We enjoyed the warm breeze flowing through the house and the ease of our stay. If we find ourselves coming back to the area we would definitely stay again.
Great location, cute house, updated and beautiful just a really bad smell and wifi did not work
This was a great spot to stay. Just a few minutes from town and great views. Nice Jacuzzi in back. House was updated. I would def love to stay here again if they fixed 2 issues. 1. the wifi did not work. Tough to stay at a place with low service coverage and no internet. 2. The house had a very bad smell to it. Especially in the kitchen and living room. I think there was dead animal under the house or something. Pew!!! If they fixed those 2 problems its a 5 star all the way.
The Villa is CHARMING and is just a short drive to everything fabulous that Napa has to offer!
We stayed at the Villa with another couple February 5th - 8th to celebrate my birthday. Everything one could possibly want was provided. The kitchen is huge and offers a large dining table. As you look out of the kitchen window you have full view of the forest and even though it was a short drive into town it made you feel like you were truly in your own little world. The bed in the master bedroom was brand new and so comfortable as was the bed in the other guest room. Listening to the frogs as we sat in the hot tub each night was so enjoyable as was watching the deer graze in the meadow as we had breakfast on the balcony. The garden was beautiful and I would love to go back in the spring when it is in full bloom. Peter was attentive to all of our needs and we have told many So Cal friends about the villa - we would DEFINATELY go back!
