Loved, loved, loved the kitchen, especially the island, and open floor plan. It was great having a TV in each room so we could separate if needed. The property is beautiful. We appreciated having the firewood if needed. It was also nice to have wifi
We stayed here for my daughter graduation. We loved this property. Lots for kids to do, very well maintained. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
My group had a wonderful time at the cabin, it was well maintained with all the towels and other necessities our group needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was private and peaceful. The photos do not do the cabin justice! Would highly recommend.
We thought we would have quite a group, but it dwindled down to 5. No biggie - plenty of room for everyone. As we turned onto the property, we were greeted by a large structure that houses more firewood for the fire pit and wood-burning fireplace inside the house (there are two!). No need to stop, though, because they had the house stocked. The house was clean, smelled great, and was really nice! Two ovens, a huge kitchen, lots of seating, and two fridges made this home chef happy. The hot tub and ping pong table made the boys happy. We had two in full-size bunk beds, and then the rest of us got our own rooms (hee hee). It was my birthday, so I got the huge master king suite - complete with fireplace, seating area, huge bathroom with a garden tub, and two closets. There was another king master for the birthday boy, and a queen for our other guest. There is an amazing hammock on the front porch where I spent most of an entire day reading. Check-in was easy as could be, but we left the property kicking and screaming and wishing that we could stay another week. They take great care of this place, and it shows! We had such an amazing time, and we hope to rent it again on our next trip to Asheville!
I would highly recommend The Lodge. Very well maintained, clean and spacious. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped for hosting big meals. Everything was well stocked. Exceptional property. Easy drive to Asheville. It had everything we needed and more. We would definitely rent again!!!
A group of friends and I stayed at The Lodge for a long weekend and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The home is incredible! Everything from the surrounding property and trails to the amenities in the home. I will warn you that the internet in the home is quite slow to almost non existent at times which made it difficult to request an Uber into downtown.
An inviting and comfortable house in a beautiful setting. Convenient to Asheville, the highway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Warren Wilson College, and general amenities including gas and groceries.
